I'm writing this review in the hopes they'll look into this issue! Some of the nipples shoot baby right in the face with milk. I see they are the ones with a slightly bigger hole at the top. I thought it may have just been my batch, but I ordered more bottles and some of them do this too. I love these bottles, but baby doesn't like her nostrils or face sprayed with milk.

Cute bottles BUT measurements are a little off. Check the measurements on bottle before using. For an 8 oz bottle I had to pour the water to the 7 and a half line.

I had such high hopes for these bottles. I loved the idea of my baby drinking from glass rather than plastic, but after two weeks of trying, these bottles are awful. I tried to capture what was happening the best I could without being able to upload videos, but the nipples are defective, or the entire system is flawed.. not sure which. I’ve tried for two weeks now to make them work after spending over $100 on bottles and nipples. I tried ordering a new set of these bottles, the packs of two, replacement nipples, they all do the same thing. Milk doesn’t come out and when it finally does, it spews out like a fire hose. You never know which one it is because babies scream if they’re hungry and can’t suck anything out of it, and they also scream when it’s pouring down their throat. I’m constantly taking the bottle in and out of my daughter’s mouth during a feeding trying to squeeze, pull, adjust, anything I can to get milk to properly flow out again. It’s heartbreaking to watch her struggle and scream because it’s coming out too fast or not at all. This is especially frustrating during those middle of the night feeds when you’ve barely slept and you’re desperately trying to get these bottles to work with a baby screaming in your ears. My daughter has choked on numerous occasions when it decides to switch from a drip to a pour as she’s sucking because she can’t swallow fast enough for the amount of milk spilling into her mouth (she’s two months old so this flow is completely inappropriate and dangerous for a baby her age). It’s so unpredictable and I always make sure it’s dripping properly before it goes in her mouth, even if it takes five minutes of playing around with the nipple. Sadly, it’s not enough because the flow will stop or spew regardless as she’s sucking. This is NOT safe whatsoever and I’m extremely irritated. Do better, Chicco.

With having four babies, I’ve tried my fair share of bottles. This is the first bottle that I’ve come across that has pure glass on the inside. I love that my breastmilk is touching glass and not plastic. So cool! The bottle feels sturdy and my picky baby likes the nipple! Win-win for me!

I’m so impressed with this bottle for many reasons. The first being, my 3 month old is extremely picky and rejects most bottles. She took to this bottle right away! The quality just feels like a really well made bottle. It’s sturdy and seems like it will hold up for a very long time. The fact that the milk only touches the glass is an extra benefit that I love!

I received the Chicco Duo Newborn Hybrid Baby Bottle Gift Set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I love it! Since my son was born, I have been trying to find a baby bottle that would work for him. Every bottle I tried for my son, he would either choke because the milk came too fast, or he would get frustrated because the milk did not come quick enough. This bottle is literally perfect! My son takes it happily, latches on really nicely, and because of the anti-colic valve, he seems happier after he eats as well! The nipple is designed perfectly out of silicone which creates a natural eating experience by imitating the shape, skin-like texture, and flow of a mothers breast. Besides the colors of the bottle which are so cool, I also love the hybrid glass interior and plastic exterior! It keeps the inside of the bottle clean and sterile, while the plastic outer layer makes the bottle durable and strong! This is an amazing feature which many other bottles are lacking. The bottles are also so easy to clean and put together, minimizing the time between preparation and feeding. There are a few downsides that I've found in these bottles. Firstly, when tipped, they drip pretty easily, and secondly, the designs and measurements on the outside of the bottle faded after being washed just a few times. The bottle set also comes with two silicone orthodontic pacifiers with a sterilizing case. I love the idea of a one piece silicone pacifier which could prevent choking, as well as the design of a completely clear pacifier which doesn't block the baby's entire face. Unfortunately, my son did not like the pacifier, as he could not get a good latch. Furthermore, the pacifiers are quite heavy, making it hard for a newborn to keep in his mouth. Overall, I would say this is an amazing bottle set, and a perfect gift idea for anyone looking for a great baby bottle!

I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am a breastfeeding mom and needed to have bottles on hand for when I am not available and these bottles worked great! My baby transitioned easily to them and didn’t notice the difference from breast and bottle. The bottle gift set is perfect for a baby shower gift. I loved having the wellness benefits of glass bottles with the practicality of plastic, made it very easy to put together, use, wash, store, and clean. The are light weight and I love that they are glass. The pacifier was a great touch and was also accepted easily by my little one. I would definitely recommend this product.

I’ll have to say I am truly impressed with the quality and design of these bottles. Not only are they made of glass, but they are super light weight. My baby has started holding his bottle on his own and this bottle fits perfectly in his little hands. They are super easy to clean. Ive always wanted to try glass bottles but have always been scared of the thought of a fragile bottle that can’t be dropped. These bottles are the perfect combination of hybrid glass and plastic. Milk touches no plastic. We have definitely experienced less leakage from these bottles. The only thing I do fear is dropping the bottle and missing a break on the inner glass, in the bottle if dropped. My baby enjoyed the pacifier that comes with the bottle set. I love that this set includes a container to carry the pacifier around. Overall I would definitely recommend these bottles to anyone. We received this bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We instantly realized that this was a fantastic product. Our favorite part about these bottles is the hybrid glass-plastic design. We like that glass bottles are easy to clean and plastic bottles are lightweight… these bottles have the best of both worlds! They are easy to clean in the sink or the dishwasher, and they have an ergonomic shape that is light and easy to hold. They are also very easy to put together.

This year we had a new baby so we busted out the old bottles from our first, with since new parts for all of them. Well not only did our newborn not take to any of the bottles, done if them ended up getting tossed because they suddenly started leaking out just weren't good enough too stand up to the newborn test. That's when I received these bottles, this is an awesome set that I would recommend to anyone having a baby or to those with babies that take bottles, breast milk or formula. I got the first set through the Stellar Product Testing Panel but I would be more than happy to buy another set of these because of their versatility and sturdiness.

Our family tries to limit our use of plastics, but an active toddler in the home makes the use of glass products a somewhat hazardous proposition as well. For this reason, we were intrigued by a hybrid product that wouldn’t stain, retain odors, or shatter when it is inevitably dropped. We also appreciate that the design of the nipple mimics the breast, and has an anti-colic valve to reduce air intake, and thus gas and discomfort. We plan to primarily breastfeed, but it’s also important that our little one be able to switch from breast to bottle as needed. The shape of the bottles themselves is wider at the bases, lending stability. They curve slightly inward towards the middle, which helps with grip. The measurements are clearly marked, and easy to read even when the bottle is empty. And anyone who has held a bottle for a prolonged period in the middle of the night can easily appreciate how lightweight the design is. Finally, when it comes to cleanup, there are minimal pieces to wash, and it goes back together intuitively. The pacifiers included are a single-piece silicone design, which we liked from a safety perspective, as there are no pieces that could potentially disconnect. And regarding the shape, our little one certainly approves! The only real improvements I can think to suggest would be to make the nipple sizes a bit more clearly marked. The bottles may also not be the right fit for those who wish to avoid plastics entirely, but for most, these will strike an ideal balance.

I was given this bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and so lucky to have been able to try these. We absolutely love these bottles for our 2 week old. They are just 3 pieces, so when I'm doing a 12am feeding I'm not standing there putting a bunch of pieces together. The inside of the bottle is glass making it very hygienic and easy to clean. The outside of the bottle is plastic so if you drop it, it doesn't break. They are lightweight and easy for older babies to hold. I love the large opening making it easy to add in formula. A lot of times bottle openings are narrow and it's hard to not spill formula everywhere. The nipple shape is similar to that of a breast so if you are breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing, or doing formula this bottle is for everyone. My baby also really enjoyed to pacifier. He could actually keep this one in his mouth. It doesn't hurt that the packaging is really cute too.

I currently have 2 little ones, my youngest is a baby girl just 3 months old. With my first, I had always wanted to use a glass bottle for multiple reasons; easier to clean and sterilize, doesn't absorb odors or flavors that may get stuck in plastic, non-toxic, fewer chemicals, can withstand hotter temps when warming, and don't get as beat up and look nice! But, I was always worried about the weight of the glass bottles, them getting too hot, would baby be able to hold it as they got older and could feed themselves, what if they drop it, all of the concerns. So I was elated when I was given the opportunity from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review the Chicco Duo Newborn Hybrid Baby Bottle Gift Set! Upon receiving the product, I was enlightened to see the box it came in and the cute colors. I loved the pink! So girly and feminine, just adorable. It made it feel quite personalized. When I first opened the box it came with 2 large 9 ounce bottles, 2 small 5 ounce bottles, 2 medium flow nipples, and 2 pacifiers. I was intrigued that the large bottles were 9 oz, for I have only ever used 8 oz and 4 oz bottles. My baby girl took to the bottle well, but only for a few days, for she was a bit passed the medium nipple size and needed to have more formula flow. The bottles were so easy to clean for my husband and came clean with just a hand wash. With other bottles, we would have to constantly be putting the bottles through the dishwasher every time to sterilize and wash them, but with these bottles, it was clear and easy to see when they were clean and dry. I would definitely recommend these bottles, based on our short experience and for a Mom who has a little one as a newborn to start with right away. Not only are they durable, easy to clean, and cute, they also made me feel better about my daughter using them since they are made of a better material and less toxins. The pacifiers she took to quite well. I have tried very many different plugs with her to try to get her away from the hospital plug and to get her to use something better for her mouth. I was so surprised that these did the trick! She wasn't constantly spitting them out like the other ones we tried. They're heavy enough to be a good weight in her mouth and not too light to where they just fall out, and they're pink! Cuteness level on point! Thank you for encouraging me to try! I will be using these in the future with my next little ones!

I recieved this product free from Stellar product testing panel. I was very excited to try this new product with my 4 month old. She was predominantly breastfed and we had a tough time getting her to take bottles but this one actually worked quite well for her. The shape of the nipples, being more flattened I think was what she liked about them. I liked that there is the durability and easy cleaning of plastic but sanitation of glass. I was shocked to see how lightweight they were as well since I’ve never used glass bottle before. I will say though the pacifiers were not my daughters favorite. I wish they had a similar shape to the bottles. Overall great bottle set and would recommend.

I received the Chicco Duo Newborn Hybrid Baby Bottle Gift Set to try out as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We had a few other bottles that out little girl wasn't taking but this was one she took to right away. I like that it has the glass in the inner layer that makes it long lasting and cleaner but doesn't shatter. It came with four bottles two different sizes, two sets of nipples for slow and medium flow which was great since we needed slow flow for our little one. it also came with orthodontic pacifiers and a great case to bring on the road with us. The bottles were very easy to put together and clean and I do enjoy the glass hybrid design.

It puts my mom heart at ease to use products I know are safe for my 3-month-old. I want to keep him from harmful toxins that can be found in plastic (especially with heat exposure), but glass bottles are not ideal for our on-the-go lifestyle. With these bottles, you get the inner lining of glass but they’re lightweight like pure plastic bottles. I used these in my bottle sterilizer with no issues. They’re easy to clean and put together during those late night feedings. The nipple they come with can be used with cereal, if you add that to milk. We’ve had a hard time with other nipples when the milk is thickened with cereal. My son wasn’t crazy about the pacifiers that came with this kit, but he is very particular and will only take one kind. They look like they’d stay in better than the circular nipples, though. He took those in the first month but they fell out of his mouth too easily. These pacifiers have more of a shape. Overall, I’d recommend these if you’re looking for a safe and healthy option that isn’t strictly glass. The designs are a plus too! It’s always fun to find cute baby items! While I was pregnant I debated using glass or plastic bottles. I received these bottles as part of the Stellar product testing panel and was happy to try the hybrid bottles that have the best of both glass and plastic! These bottles are easy to assemble, clean and use. The shape of the bottle fit great in my hand and my son took to them on the very first bottle. The pacifiers have a more oblong shape nipple which my one week old does not care for at this time. All in all if you are debating glass or plastic bottles these hybrid bottle are a great peace of mind for both!

If they didn’t explicitly tell you these bottles were glass lines, I wouldn’t been able to tell the difference between them and others on the market. They weigh about the same but I feel better knowing when I warm the bottles up, no plastic is transferred! Package is great because they have two small bottles that go up to 5 oz and then two larger ones that go up to 9 oz. Given that I hate having to clean bottles all the time and live on the go a lot, I’d probably buy another set so I have 4 and 4! Love the cute design of the bottles (I have the pink with the hearts) and huge plus is the amount of pieces it has as well. Some anti-colic bottles have additional pieces you have to add and clean and it just takes a lot of time that new moms don’t have! This set is just the bottle, nipple and top! Another thing that’s great is they have additional nipples for as the baby grows to adjust the flow so you’re not buying additional bottles or nipples just because of that! Lastly, they have matching pacifiers (set of 2 included) so that baby can have the most similar to what they’re feeding from! I’m always concerned about nipple/ bottle confusion so it’s very important to me to keep one brand instead of several! I want to thank stellar reviews for giving me a chance to try these as they have become my primary bottles of choice!

My two month old baby took to these bottles with ease. I am a big fan of them being colic friendly without the additional pieces typically required. My baby takes both formula and breastmilk and the level 2 nipples are sufficient for either. I also love that they are a glass/plastic hybrid so I get the health benefits of glass bottles without the worry of them breaking if they drop on the ground (which isn’t uncommon with me juggling toddler toys and bottles!)! They are also super simple to clean using my standard bottle brush and have few parts making it a quick process. The set also came with two pacifiers which are great! The nipples do not trap water like some other brands which is fantastic! I am so happy to have received this set through the Stellar Panel! This set has exceeded my expectations and I will continue to use these for the months to come!

I received the Chicco Duo Hybrid Baby Bottle Gift Set to review as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and WOW! I love these bottles! I have always liked the idea of glass bottles for the benefit of not having the possibility of plastic chemicals contaminating my milk, but the extra weight, combined with my butter fingers, has prevented me from ever trying. I was shocked to learn that these hybrid bottles feel no heavier than regular plastic bottles. The also clean easily. They have minimal parts to wash, and most importantly, my four month old baby was willing to drink from the nipple. I will say the flow of the size 1 nipple seemed slower than your average slow flow than I have experienced. This set came with both size 1 and 2 nipples. The size 2 worked for my baby - 1 probably would have been too slow for her even at one month old, but she is accustomed to a heavy letdown. Being that my baby receives only breast milk, I appreciate the clear ounce markings that make it easy to measure expressed milk. I like the simple design, with no extra parts for venting that require tiny brushes to clean properly. The bottle set also came with two silicone pacifiers with a microwave sterilizing case. The pacifiers have a nice big handle that my baby likes to grab herself. The large handle also makes it easy to attach to pacifier clips or soft toys meant for holding pacifiers. The sterilizing case is a nice bonus, as it is super easy to just pop in the microwave with a bit of water for a few minutes. I will be recommending these bottles, and this set, to any new moms I know - especially if they are considering going the glass bottle route.
