I am a huge fan of coffee as well as espresso and latte/cappuccino drinks, and was super excited to try it out. It does make good espresso-based drinks, and froths up milk well. My only issue is the cleaning time - you do need to clean everything after each use. When I'm on the go, this is not always feasible.

Just be sure to clean up all the mess immediately with the coffee and milk spread all over counter. I have made 20+ espresso without any issue. I would recommend to try it.

This did take some getting used to but overall very easy to use. I like that you can use pods or ground coffee to switch it up. The water does not take long to heat up and it does not take long to brew either, quite fast. Love feeling like I am making the fancy coffees at home and saving some money.

I thought the machines would be too big and bulky, and the process would be time consuming. All of that changes with the Coffee Gator Semi Automatic Espresso Machine! The process is so easy, just get some fine ground coffee, tamp it down in the portafilter, snap it in place and start the brew! The guide is helpful but I wish I'd had more instructions. The QR code to the video wasn't working, and I couldn't find it on the Coffee Gator site. The brew function is just a on/off knob, no timer. So I had no idea how long to let it brew. Wound up watching videos from other owners, and learned that I needed to stop the brew after 30 seconds. Also I found that a double was too strong for me, but the single portafilter was great. I loved that the Coffee Gator Semi Automatic Espresso Machine comes with a Frother and Removable Water Tank. The espresso doesn't use a lot of water, so the tank stayed full a long time. The frother was easy to use, but again, I could have used some instructions in the guide, or better yet, a video tutorial, I had no idea what I was doing. Oh I didn't get to try it, but it accepts E.S.E. espresso pods, which are a special type you'll have to seek out. Can't wait to try one! I am giving Coffee Gator Semi Automatic Espresso Machine w/Frother and Removable Water Tank my top rating because the machine is wonderful and the coffee was amazing. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the slim design of the Coffee Gator Semi-Automatic Expresso Machine. It doesn’t take up much counter space and comes fully assembled. Took a little practice to operate but it was worth it because I love being able to make lattes at home. The only thing that would make the machine better is if a metal pitcher was included for frothing.
