DRIVEN – Large Toy Truck with Movable Parts – Street Sweeper

If you want something to look at great otherwise has little to not working functions that work.

We purchased this a couple of months ago in store to save for Christmas. Well, one side of the sweeping mechanism doesn’t work at all. The small wheels underneath don’t turn properly. It also makes a loud clicking noise when in reverse. I don’t know if that sound is normal or not. We were hoping to exchange it for a new one, but they are now out of stock. As it was a Christmas gift, we don’t have the packaging. We normally love Driven toys, but this one was a bust.

My son is obsessed with street sweepers, so this was the coolest truck to buy for him, and he was beyond excited. However, the grey part that you're supposed to slide to make the debris collector thing down below drop down won't budge one bit. And, without that part dropping down, none of the debris gets picked up, and it kind of loses its entire point. I've tried everything, and I can not get that grey piece to slide and the under part to drop down. Does anyone have any ideas?? Thank you.

Overall it’s just ok.. my kids lost interest right away. It is somewhat functional and sucks up stuff but not to the point where the kids really notice or think it’s cool. Not a lot of functions other than the sounds. It is a very big truck but even on sale not worth the money.

They’re not kidding when they say large!! My son is a big fan of the Driven trucks. I bought this for his birthday, but overlooked the word “large” in the title. It does not disappoint in size!

Junk... stopped working a month after we bought it. I contacted the company and they sent a new one. 2 days after receiving this one also stopped working with the same issue... sounds. They asked me to put name brand batteries in as this can affect how it works and they don’t even send it with name brand ones!

My 3 year old son got this for his birthday. He loves the sounds and motions. He has been playing with it non stop.

This entire line of Driven Trucks is awesome! We got the big mobile crane and the bulldozer last Christmas, and both look like new still. This year my older son asked Santa for a cement truck, so “Santa” bought the impressively expensive Bruder Cement Truck (the $60 one, not the $99 one). Well- guess what? This $35 is heads above the Bruder Cement Truck in value and function. This sweeper is enormous! If you’re looking to wow- this will do it! I had no idea how big and hefty it was gonna be. The Bruder Truck is made of same type of plastic as Battat Driven and the quality is comparable, in fact Driven may even surpass. For one thing, the Bruder truck did not have operational doors or lights/sounds. The people at Battat have thoughtfully designed the side-view mirrors to fold up so storage isn’t an issue. The bristles on the sweeper rotate back and forth as you push the truck across the floor. The bristles feel like what is in my vacuum cleaner- soft and silky- it will not scratch up your floor. The door hinges are amazing, and even better than the ones on the mobile crane from previous year. Once you push the door back all the way, the doors stay open until you push it shut again. The hopper lifts up and stays up until you push it back down. Just sooo amazing. If you’re on the fence about this truck, just buy it! Even if you are indifferent about a sweeper truck, its still gonna amaze you. Now if they’d only make a large cement truck or excavator too!

This seemed to work great right out of the box, but the front sweepers stopped working after about 30 minutes

Tried to buy this once and after adding it to my cart it quickly sold out. After being notified it was back in stock, I quickly went to my nearest target and purchased the very last one. I know my son is going to be thrilled to get this. He loves all things cars and trucks. He doesn’t have a street sweeper so he’ll be happy to add to his collection.

Well made, with lots of fun moving parts. A great toy!

We love all of the large trucks from driven, but this one was great for my 5 year old. The noises are not annoying, and it is great to be able to “sweep” the floors.

My 5 year old son has been asking for a street sweeper toy for 2 years. I was so excited when I found this! I ordered it for a Christmas gift for him, so he hasn't gotten to play with it yet, but I'm sure he will love it, as will his 1.5 year old brother! The sweeper heads move very easily, but the toy is very sturdy. We have other toys from this brand, and they have held up great over the years. I can't wait for my son to open this on Christmas morning! I will say that it was larger than I expected. It shipped in a box that was 3 feet long and 2 feet wide. The box was a little overkill for the size of the toy, but the toy itself is still very large. It is definitely worth the cost!
