Q: Does the cord come from center back or is it to the right or the left? I need to know whether to install a wall outlet on the right or on the left side of our fieldstone fireplace. The 6 ft cord will barely make it to one side or the other.

It looks nice, I love the flames but that’s about it. I’m really let down by this product after eyeballing it for 2months. It says supplemental heat for up to 1,000 square feet but that’s the size of my whole house and I barely feel the heat from 5ft away. The fan is pretty loud for its size and after debating between this model and the one with crackling sounds, I would spend the extra money to cover the sound of the fan and for the whole realistic sensory ordeal. I’m not saying don’t buy it, but for the cost I expected a lot more heat output.
