A: You can adjust the seat height by spinning the stools. So they will "swivel" if you'd like but that will also move the seat up/down slightly.

I’m so disappointed. I finally found some stools that look right with our house. But unfortunately when I sat in them the wood is rough and not sanded and snagged my pants! How hard is it to make a smooth wood seat!

Love these stools! They're very sturdy and I love that they have adjustable height and a swivel. For my counter height they're perfect at their lowest level, though if you like crossing your legs it's a little tight. My counter is about 34.5" from floor to counter edge.

Overall great stool! Description and photos are correct. I would recommend these to anyone. I love that we can pick the height of the stool. The only draw back is you can not lock that height in place and the only reason I would rate it a four star. Many times my guests will turn around on them, so the height changes alot, so I am turning them to the same height all the time.
