Gooseneck Floor Lamp with Natural Shade - Threshold™

Target missed the mark on pretty much every measure with this floor lamp. Although the base is fairly stable, the foot control doesn't sit flush to the floor, The rod is thin and does not work well for stabilizing the fixture. Altho the shade is attractive, the weave is rough. Overall, this floor lamp is not worth the price. We returned it; especially since the product we received was a return that was poorly repackaged and the uno shade ring was missing.

Beautiful lamp! It’s perfect! I think people just have trouble putting it together It’s quite simple, just have to follow instructions

The lamp is beautiful but NO MATTER which way you put it together the base of the cord ends up towards to front. The screws are "screwy". DO NOT recommend for 80 bucks!

I originally bought this for some porch reading because it would hide dirt, but I brought it inside anyway cuz it's so cute.

Really pleased with this floor lamp! Easy to set up, with the ability to manipulate the shade to your liking. We wanted a petite floor lamp over our MCM chair, and this one is perfect - just enough style and light for a small space. I don't agree with reviewers that think it looks cheap, is flimsy, or that the pieces don't fit. You should have a small Allen wrench in a clear bag inside the red bag that contains the end of the cord and plug -- those screws appear to be extras as there are some already in the tube that attaches to the top piece, you must remove these before attaching the pieces. If the lamp is flimsy you have not secured the pieces properly. For the price point you can't beat it.

Really wanted to love this but the gold was too bright for my taste. I prefer a darker or more aged looking brass which is what I have in my living room where this was going to go. It didn’t work for me, but if you have mirrors/frames etc that are a brighter/lighter gold this would match perfectly.

While I like the shape of the goose neck base and shade, this lamp looks cheap and flimsy when paired with quality furniture.

This lamp only faces in one direction. If you want it to face to the left, as I did, you're out of luck. It means the cord comes out the front and looks awful on the floor. Also, what is up with foot pedals on everything now?? It makes it impossible to place the lamp near or behind furniture, and it means the cord can't be hidden. It's awkward to use. It's just a cheaped out way to avoid having to wire a usable switch to the lamp. Never again. It's also very short, so it's not going to work for a lot of spaces. It might be great for leaning over a chair for reading, if your chair is positioned so that the lamp can face to the right (eye roll). But then you won't be able to turn it on and off because of the foot pedal.

I actually bought this on clearance, and was thrilled by the design. The reviews I read that made it seem poorly made or impossible to put together? Not so much. Thankfully, came smartly packaged with instructions and a small Allen key and screws I almost missed (they're in the red plastic). With that key stuff, I was able to put the lamp together in a cinch, and it looks fantastic. Very sturdy, shapely, and a perfect addition to my reading nook. Quality Threshold lamp, like another I've bought before. On clearance at half off, a steal.

Not super tall and very lightweight. Easy to assemble, took maybe 10 minutes. Allen wrench and simple instructions included. You do have to unscrew the tiny pieces to insert the last piece of the lamp and tighten well after inserted. Adds a calming feeling to the room.

Easy to assemble and perfect for our baby's nursery!!

Lamp is very cute. This would go great next to a desk or recliner for reading. Generally easy to assemble EXCEPT the top part with the curve, piece E, does not fit into the tube, piece D. The rest of the tube is easily screw in together. There were no instructions in the box and no way to secure piece E.

The top peice (E) does not fit into the tube (D) I’ve tried grinding it down and it still doesn’t fit. I’ve even used a blow drier to expand the hole to see if it’ll fit and I’m still at a loss. I want to make this lamp work so bad and I can’t. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make it fit? Definitely too expensive for all the work I’ve had to put into this.

Very pretty and easy to assemble. In fact I have 2 and love them.

The style is great and I was committed but the construction is actual trash. None of the pieces fit together as intended. After literally having to take a grinder to the top piece to whittle it down so it inserts into the middle piece (NOT an issue with the set screws as other reviewers have suggested; the circumference was simply too big), the threading on the base also fails to grip the bottom post. So now I have a crooked, wobbly, worn, brand new lamp. Would love to hear from the manufacturer on this. What a massive disappointment.

This lamp is so pretty, a good value for the price I think! It is a tad on the petite side, so if you aren’t sure you may need to bust out the old tape measure and decide if a smaller floor lamp is what you’re actually looking for. Also I think it’s pretty important to note: you do indeed need an Allen wrench like a few other reviewers mentioned- but someone inaccurately said that target didn’t include it. My lamp came included with an Allen wrench and 2 extra screws. A few other reviews were saying that they couldn’t figure out why the last piece doesn’t screw on/ the lamp looks wonky, etc. It’s all in the instructions. Last piece, as I mentioned earlier, gets put on differently than the others that just twist together, hence why you need the Allen wrench! Also, I think someone else on here full on put the lamp on backwards from their photos. Again. All in the instructions. I realize how long of a review this is but I just thought it was important to mention for anyone on the fence about buying. Follow instructions and you’ll have a beautiful lamp 😊👍🏼
