Turn up the heat during those chilly days and icy nights with this Black Ceramic Pedestal Tower Indoor Heater from Lasko. The widespread oscillation of this heater allows for even distribution of heat throughout the room. The digital display is clear and allows you to view the thermostatic readout easily. Comes fully-assembled, ready to use right out of the box. This heater is an absolute must-have for the cold weather season.
My baby’s room gets very cold in the winter so I needed a heater that was safe, continuous, and you could set the exact temperature you wanted. This is all of that. We originally purchased a Dyson Heat/Cool/Purifier that was $400. Long story short, in less than a year 2 broke on me and I was done with that expensive machine. I couldn’t trust it. So I did some research and this heater has great reviews. We’ve had it for about a month and it has done exactly what I needed it to. Very happy with this purchase, if we needed another heater I wouldn’t hesitate to get this one again.
This heater works fantastic for my bedroom, which is about 10’x15’. I had purchased a tiny 8” box one before that didn’t do a thing so I was pretty skeptical of this one even though it was quite a bit bigger. Can’t speak to bigger spaces but for my purposes, for my bedroom, this thing is a powerhouse!! I consistently set the temp at 73 degrees, and for whatever reason, this space heater often goes above and beyond that~ which is fine by me~ to the point where I have to shut it off it gets too warm. It will then read 76 degrees which I didn’t program so that’s a bit confusing, but i would much rather have it overperform than underperform. I love it as I said, I had stubbornly put up with the tiny box one for years in an effort to “save” money, even tho I would be freezing cold in the process. Target even gave me an automatic discount when I came to pick it up because the box was indented pretty bad, and I loved that! So happy that I purchased this brand of heater!
great for smaller spaces!
1)takes care of about 300sq ft
2) takes care of about 500sq ft
Old apt furnaces that are older than I am freak me out so I choose the space heater route instead and I have been very impressed with this type! I have been using both for about 2 solid months now and have no complaints thus far. They set up/break down easy and come with a remote (although I don't use them). They do not every get hot to the touch so kids/ pets coming into contact are not a concern.
This started out working great. Then after just two weeks it could no longer heat the room to the desired temperature. It is in a standard bedroom and ran non-stop. Barely raise the temperature in the room even running hours at a time and sometimes never shutting off. Don’t know why it stopped after just a week or two but after a week or two it could not do it’s job.
bought one for my sons room since his room gets cold in the winter. I tested it out for 45 minutes set at 72 degrees. Took about that long to get up to temp in the room. After testing it out I turned it off and unplugged it until we needed to use it later that evening. When we plugged it back in and tried to turn it on the heater no longer worked. Had the heater for less then a day and only ran for 45 minutes. Returned it the next day and bought another heater that works better.
I noticed how well this heater worked in someone else's home and decided we needed one since our heating system is out. It's mid October, starting to get into the 50's, 60's shivering in our 1,163 sq ft house (which has good insulation. You can't blame a heater for not working if your insulation is poor). It does need some assembling, though anyone even slightly handy can do it. It took up to 2 hours to heat up our entire first floor, and even traveled to the top floor. Though, if you like another warm tinyhouse level, you'll need another heater. My husband and I like our room fairly cool, not toasty but not to the point of shivering either. This heater from downstairs takes care of that. We are amazed! 69 is comfortable for us. Personally, if it's 72+ you are going into crazy-people (kidding) territory who like really hot rooms- and it can be set up to the 80's! In our open living room/kitchen area, I did notice it couldn't go past 72 degrees. I haven't tested it yet how to see how it holds up in 10's-30's degree weather. In a closed bedroom, I'm sure it can get even warmer if you want it toasty. Overall, it's very lightweight, easy to set with a remote control, isn't this big bulky heater, at a great price and it actually works. We like it a lot!
I’m pretty blown away by this little heater. We just needed something to help us get through the winter until we get new siding/insulation on the house we just bought in the spring. My fiancé bought this one because it was literally the only one in the store. I didn’t expect it to work so well considering our living room is huge but it warms it right up. About an hour of running this and the temperature is up 5 degrees or more. Some times I actually have to shut it off it gets the room so warm! This little heater definitely packs a punch and I’m pleasantly surprised by it!
