I bought this set for myself and building the set was fine except for the part where you had to put a ton of pieces on for just one step, it seemed a little too much for me. The build turned out fine. I would recommend this set to a friend who loves architecture and Asia just like me. What I really enjoy about this set are the details and architecture and looks just like Singapore from the photos on the box.

Not Worth It

I was pretty dissappointed with this set. Found it to be way too flimsy and did not live up to my expectation of a fun building experience. Felt that there is a fault in the design or the building instructions - although it may have been due to an error made on my end. I'll have to pass this one, do not recommend.

Excellent quality pieces as per usual. Cool Lego attachment techniques, with beautiful popping colors to catch the eye. Architecture sets are truly wonderful. Thank you Lego

For a smaller set, provided very good challenge. Set looks great on my bookshelf in my office along other architecture builds I have done. Great value for the money.

Best of the city skyline sets

I was fortunate to visit Singapore in December 2019, mere weeks before the pandemic lockdown, during which I rediscovered Lego and dove in headfirst. This Singapore set was one of my first purchases, and I adore it. So many terrific little details, and even some interesting build techniques, packed into a compact little set that was pretty fun to build and makes for an attractive display piece. It's my favorite of the city skyline sets.

I started building legos this summer, and this was my very first set :) I lived in Singapore for three months this year, and there were a bunch of Lego stores there that, at the time, did not interest me for some reason. My older sister wanted to get into Lego sets, and we went to the store together. When I saw this set, all of my memories flooded back. I immediately grabbed it. Rebuilding where I lived and remembering everything I did at the Super Tree Observatory, the Marina Bay Sands, Lau Pa Sat, and the Bank made this set one of my favorites.

The liitle white building off to the right side of the model really gets to me, it feels like a cheap afterthought, and I really want to know what that building is. Overall, I'd actually give this set 5 stars, It's a great set. Lego, please tell me!

My husband and I stayed at the MBS a few weeks ago and I knew my 5 year old grandson loved Legos. I bought this set and we built it together ( he did 99% of it) by himself. Lego products are very good, always supplying a few extra pieces and the directions are clear and precise. I weill enjoy having this souvenir of our trip, made by my grandson!

Singapore is quite an eye-catching skyline to look at, but its shame the box isn't the flip style one. I made an account just to say this: Please change the boxes back!

I love this set! I am a huge fan of the Marina Bay Sands architecturally I Love translucent lego bricks, so this build was a delight. The building process was wonderful and the result is a cute colorful display piece I couldn’t be more proud of. Thanks Lego :)

Great set, bad packaging

I’ve waited many years for a North American release of Marina Bay Sands, and this set is absolutely gorgeous, it’s even better than the previous version. I love the foliage and other little buildings very much as well. In fact, I’d have to say this is my favorite of the architecture series. I have a vast number of sets from that series too! But I had to dock one star from my rating because this is the first set I have to buy a box for and it will not look right in my architecture series on the shelf. Why, Lego, with all your promoting of going green, sustainability, etc, would you put this in a flimsy, unattractive disposable box? That actually creates MORE waste because we have to throw this away and buy another container to store the set in! All the other sets created zero waste because we could open the box, build the set, disassemble it, and put it back in the same box, and proudly display it. I’m very confused about the sustainability goals Lego has now. This seems like a giant leap in the wrong direction. Honestly, I think all lego sets should come in cardboard boxes that are suitable for storage and long term shelf display, but at the very least keep them coming for the adult sets!
