My husband and I stayed at the MBS a few weeks ago and I knew my 5 year old grandson loved Legos. I bought this set and we built it together ( he did 99% of it) by himself. Lego products are very good, always supplying a few extra pieces and the directions are clear and precise. I weill enjoy having this souvenir of our trip, made by my grandson!

Singapore is quite an eye-catching skyline to look at, but its shame the box isn't the flip style one. I made an account just to say this: Please change the boxes back!

I love this set! I am a huge fan of the Marina Bay Sands architecturally I Love translucent lego bricks, so this build was a delight. The building process was wonderful and the result is a cute colorful display piece I couldn’t be more proud of. Thanks Lego :)

I’ve waited many years for a North American release of Marina Bay Sands, and this set is absolutely gorgeous, it’s even better than the previous version. I love the foliage and other little buildings very much as well. In fact, I’d have to say this is my favorite of the architecture series. I have a vast number of sets from that series too! But I had to dock one star from my rating because this is the first set I have to buy a box for and it will not look right in my architecture series on the shelf. Why, Lego, with all your promoting of going green, sustainability, etc, would you put this in a flimsy, unattractive disposable box? That actually creates MORE waste because we have to throw this away and buy another container to store the set in! All the other sets created zero waste because we could open the box, build the set, disassemble it, and put it back in the same box, and proudly display it. I’m very confused about the sustainability goals Lego has now. This seems like a giant leap in the wrong direction. Honestly, I think all lego sets should come in cardboard boxes that are suitable for storage and long term shelf display, but at the very least keep them coming for the adult sets!

As an owner of almost every LEGO Architecture set, aside from the limited edition Marina Bay Sands, I am very happy with this model! I'm so happy LEGO decided to make a model where the beautiful Marina Bay Sands resort can be owned by everyone! I of course love the other buildings in the model too, but I was mainly excited to own some form of the resort that isn't in a limited release. Great job to Rok Kobe, the model designer of the original 2013 model, and now this one!!!

We have collected a majority of the architecture sets and own all of the skylines. We were very excited to purchase this new addition but when it came in the mail, were extremely disappointed to see that Lego did away with the flip top boxes that every other architecture set comes in. Instead of a reusable box that stays in good condition, it comes in a much larger box that can only be opened by tearing the front or back panel off, permanently damaging the box. I know this sounds petty, but to a loyal collector, this is a huge downgrade. Part of keeping a lego collection in good condition is keeping the BOX in good condition. It also means the box can’t be displayed nicely with all the other sets we have. I don’t know how much Lego saved by abandoning the higher quality packaging, but this is a huge downgrade to an iconic series. Oh, the skyline’s pretty good. Not the best, not the worst. A worthy addition.

This is a frustrating model. I should have known by the cheep box this would not match other architect sets. This set will fall apart if you try to move it I find it had to believe this was build as a set for the architect line but more fell into it. I still love this set just not on par.

The set itself is great, as others have said. My issue is with the new box. I have every LEGO Architecture set and the boxes (see picture) used to be premium, sleek, and looked great on the bookshelf with all the others. This box is their go-to cheap toy box that you have to rip tabs to open it. It is awful and the coloring / design of the box leaves something to be desired. Go back to the old Architecture boxes LEGO!

I am a fan of the Lego Architecture Skyline Sets, having visited many of the cities in the series, I purchase the places I have visited as a memento of my trips. Having been to Singapore several times, I always said I would purchase this model if Lego ever made it, so at the beginning of 2022 imagine my joy to see this in the Lego store. Lego has not disappointed with this model and many of the iconic buildings are in the set and beautifully presented. I was sad to see the ArtScience Museum had not been attempted & the absence of The Merlion (The symbol of Singapore) as a bespoke Lego piece is a real shame. The build took me several hours and I found the anchoring system for the Marina Bay Sands hotel to be a little fiddly but is a really clever way to get the iconic curve of the building. I also loved the reuse of wheel pieces for the trees and this gives a really nice effect. I did find the printed pieces for The Fullerton & Riverwalk Apartments to be inconsistently printed so had to mix and match to get the best alignment which still isn’t perfect and a agree with some other comments that the blue of the Marina Bay is a little intense and the more subtle blue of the stand-alone Marina Bay would have been a better option. All-in-all I love this model enjoyed building it and think it is really great addition to the Lego Architecture range, It would have just been nice if the quality of the printed pieces was a little higher and some more elements had been included. Well worth buying though.
