Its been a fun learning experience for her and they are plastic so they are safe if dropped on the ground they will not break or chip your floor.

The magnet strength is pretty good depending on how you build your structure. They hold up very well. We have built "castles" and it holds dolls, same cars. Comes with a variety of colors. They are strong and safe. Good activity for kids to think and allow to be creative. This is a great present for kids!!!

The shapes are made of durable material which I think will scratch over time which is an okay trade off for appearance.
