Medela Contact Nipple Shields With Carrying Case

These were a life saver as I got used to breastfeeding. Used them every time I fed for probably the first 3-4 months. Helped tremendously and not sure I would still be breastfeeding if I hadn’t used these. Was given one in the hospital and was told to use it as a lady resort but I used it every feed. Do whatever makes you most comfortable! Your baby is going to do great wether you use formula or breast milk. Do what works for you and your baby but I found these to be so helpful with our breast feeding journey! I would place in boiling water after every use and let it air dry. There world be times it would have a film on it and it wouldn’t stick as well so I would clean really well with a bristle brush then put in boiling water to sanitize. Used these when both baby and I had thrush to put some barrier between passing it back and forth

LOVE THESE. They changed everything for me. My baby wouldn’t latch well right away so I bought these and after a couple times using them, he was able to latch on just fine. He’s been doing great since then!

These for sure saved my breastfeeding journey for the first two months of my girl’s life. We didn’t know it was her tongue tie that was causing her to reject my natural breasts, and we were given these in the hospital to help. She was able to breastfeed and gain weight thanks to these!! Since getting her tie clipped we have been able to get latched without them. Be sure to choose the correct size too, as she rejected the smaller ones and thrived with the 24 mm!!

Great product!! Baby preferred bottle over breasts and you could tell by the poor latching and semi disgusted look on his face wherever I breastfed him lol. He instantly took to the breasts after using these shields. This may have just saved our breastfeeding journey!!

Great for those first few days of nursing when your breasts are tender and raw or if your nipples are inverted it definitely helps baby latch

Perfect for inverted or flat nipples. My baby has been using these since the hospital and these are a must if you are breastfeeding and have the same issues I was having. Also I feel like they help my baby have a better latch.

I was ready to give up breastfeeding the first night at home. My mom bought these for me and they saved my breastfeeding journey. Unfortunately I lost both of them and my husband went to buy me new ones, but got the lansinoh ones. They were horrible! I mean, they got the job done, but the medela ones are 1000x better!!

This product saved my breastfeeding experience with my newborn. My newborn was having a hard time latching, and as soon as I put these on, my baby has no issues. She’s able to breast feed, and we’re able to bond. I bought 3 sets just in case because they need to be washed, of course, and they’re just handy to have around for feeding. Highly recommend!!

Would be nice if these things didn’t always fall off! Constantly falling off or being knocked ooff. You would think how pricey they are they would actually stay on. Super annoying! Plus I’m constantly loosing them. Would be nice if they weren’t clear so it’s easier to find.

My baby spent 5 days in the NICU and had to be bottle fed to get enough calories for strength. I was given this by the lactation consultant. This is so similar to a bottle that he latched on right away for the whole feed. If you find yourself needing this product and are able to order several, I would recommend it so you have a stash and can just wash all of them at a convenient time during the day. Also good to have a couple extras in case you can’t find one and some for the diaper bag. I am so grateful for this product!

Why are these are not offered in the same sizes as the flanges? I use 27 mm flanges and the 24 mm Nicole shield is very obviously too small for me. I don’t know how they can advertise this as “sizes for all women” when they don’t make them in the larger sizes. Very disappointed.

I am I lucky fir this product. Without it, I would not have been able to breast-feed, since baby was unable to latch to me naturally. Easy to clean and the case helps me find it, since the actual shield is made of a clear material that is easy to lose.

Does not stay in place. Waste of money

These were a lifesaver when I started breastfeeding, especially when nipples were super sore. They also helped little one learn to latch. The only thing that was an issue was it would sometimes be difficult to hold them on during a feeding session as they fall off easily and would sometimes cause milk that gathered in the tip to spill.

Works as described and the carrying case is a game changer!
