Q: My son got the plaster in his eye is he going to be ok he washed his eye fairly ok but I’m still worried he was stirring the plaster to fast and splashed in his eye will he be ok or should I get help i need a answer ASAP.
submitted by Ed - 1 year ago
A: Our plaster is a calcium sulfate, rinsing the opened eye for several minutes under running water is recommended. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

Q: Is it hard to do do you have to put together
submitted by Jess - 3 years ago
A: Hi Jess Our volcano kits do require assembling the mold, mixing and pouring in the plaster. As well as painting the dried volcano and mixing of the eruption powders. We suggest this kit for ages 6 and up, however an advanced child can also enjoy this kit with a little more assistance from an adult.

Q: Can this volcano erupt multiple times?
submitted by Curious George - 4 years ago
A: Our Volcano kits include enough eruption powder for multiple eruptions, plus additional tips for bigger eruptions, using regular household ingredients
Since my child is under the 8 yr recommendation for this, I just had him watch. The instructions say not to breathe in the powder, but it poofs up such that I'd recommend wearing face masks, even when pouring carefully. Then, after at least two minutes of stirring, the mixture was still quite lumpy. A LOT pours out the side of the volcano mold & went through all the layers of newspaper to the floor we were working on. I don't have high hopes for the rest, since this part was not what I expected or what the instructions led me to believe.

Great gift for my son who really enjoyed the process. He loved being able to build and paint the volcano and waiting for it to dry which created anticipation for the lava part and taught patience. Powder lava provided was enough for multiple uses. Great toy would recommend! Can be messy

My 3 and 4 year old had a lot of fun with this. It definitely requires a parent to help, and be advised there are things that take time to dry so we did some on Saturday and finished it on Sunday.

This was great fun to do with my daughter. There is a great little book included which is educational for kids regarding volcanoes and the different types and activity. We made the volcanos with the included supplies, painted it with the included paints and then make it erupt with the included mixtures. It was great fun to do and my daughter loved it.
We haven’t used it yet as it’s for my grandson for Christmas. What impressed us from reading the details and seeing the actual weight of the item is what I will review on. Clear instructions Heavy weight Incudes activities and materials Has a souvenir volcanic rock-we really like the kits than have something interactive and tangible It looks like a fun and interactive activity to do with him

Fun activity with my 3 boys 5 and under. They enjoy making the mold, painting their volcano, then erupting it. We made it a 3 day activity. Great price for a STEM activity. It also comes with a pamphlet explaining how volcanos erupted.

Great fun from casting the mold to painting to “erupting”! Just remember to place on a cookie sheet or easy to clean surface for the eruption. ;)

This was so fun for the family! It does take patience and time but it’s worth it. We enjoyed it very much with our two daughters (age 7 and 10). I’m not sure how any kid got this in their eyes. It does not explode straight up; it bubbles so make your kids back up or wear safety googles people.
