Q: What size infant is this for? On the Nested Bean site, it says the 'classic' is for 0-6 months but I am not seeing any size besides the noted "room to grow with a 2-in-1 design".

Q: How is the enclosure in this? Is it Velcro and zipper? Do I need to remove Velcro for diaper change?

A: The swaddle is Velcro. Unfortunately, you do have to remove for diaper changes, there is no opening at the bottom

As an avid Nested Bean lover of their sleep sacs for my daughter, I thought I would try the Zen sleep sac for my 2 month old son! He is a master escape artist, and this seemed to fit the bill! On the outside of the packaging it said to promise better sleep in 1-3 nights. Unfortunately this was the exact OPPOSITE with my son. The first night he was out of the swaddle within 4 hours, the second it was 2 hours. The second and third nights he was up every 30 minutes after rocking him for 15 minutes. I'm exhausted. I stuck it out for the 3 nights hoping that we were at the latter end of the curve for this item, but that was not the case. The quality of this is excellent as expected with the company. Unfortunately the product just missed the mark and it's expensive for what it is and for how long your baby will be in it. Also it could become hazardous if you aren't watching your little as they squirm and the material could move up over their face while they're sleeping! Not safe.

Only sleep sack that helps my baby sleep! He will only sleep with this sack. The small weights are so cool! I think it makes him feel like I’m still holding onto him. He has been sleeping through the night since we started using them. He’s 3 months old and sleeps from 8pm-8am

This is the softest cotton. She can comfortably kick her legs. Arms can be loose or tight. She likes that it is slightly weighted. I know she is sleeping longer when she wears it.

I bought 2 of these sleepers for my newborn, after having success with these 2 years ago with my first son. I’m not sure if the product itself changed, but I’m not too impressed this time around. The material became very stretched out - resulting in nearly needing to wrap my baby in it twice to have a somewhat tight seal. The Velcro area became ripped after only 1 month of use. Not impressed.

This thing is a nightmare! My newborn can easily get out in seconds even if I wrap it as tightly as I can. The fabric s wayyyy too stretchy. The weighted parts have not helped at all.

We had high hopes for this product when we bought it, but unfortunately it hasn’t met our expectations. We have two main complaints: First, the fabric is way too stretchy, making it very easy for our daughter to wiggle her arms out of the swaddle, no matter how tightly we wrap her. Second, there is nothing with which to attach the swaddling “wings” to the weighted flap that lays on her chest. As a result, she is able to kick the flap off completely so that one or both of her feet are exposed. The idea behind this product is a decent one, but a couple key design flaws mean it doesn’t work well in practice.

The problem with this swaddler is that there’s nothing holding the weighted part in place. After only a few minutes, the weighted portion was around my baby’s legs. In addition, the fabric is so stretchy that it doesn’t hold her arms in place. If she moves around at all, the swaddling part ends up around her neck and face.

I’ve used the Nested Bean Swaddle with my first 3 years ago which worked and held up well (and I still use!) and ordered this one for my second child. After less than 2 months of (non exclusive) use it started to fall apart! First at the seams which I attempted to repair then around the Velcro rendering it useless. Not sure if the one I received was a defect or the quality has gone down over the years. I’ve reached out to Nested Bean was ignored. Extremely disappointed and a waste of $30.

I ordered this in desperation after my 3 week old wouldn’t sleep at night with either my hand on his chest or holding his legs up. It worked like a charm for us! Although he still has restless nights at times, this seemed to of helped our baby sleep and helped save my arm. It’s soft and lightweight and easy to put on. I would recommend it if your baby just needs a “little hug” to sleep well on their own.

I bought this for my 2 month old grandson. My daughter-in-law said he was having a hard time staying asleep because he always wants to be held. Since I got her this he has been sleeping 3-4 hours instead of 1/2 hr-1hr. She is thrilled with it.
