  • A: Actually, the G3 is much more stiff/hard than the G2. Like many other customers, I blew my money on the G3 because it is marketed as "soft".

submitted byDark Blue Color Please - 7 months ago

Q: If this is for receding gums etc. why would the brush head be MEDIUM bristled? I would think that a SOFT and even a "SENSITIVE SOFT" bristle would be more appropriate.

submitted by Therese - 4 years ago
  • A: I am hear looking for new brush heads because I expected "Gum Health" brushes to be soft too... I didn't realize they were medium firmness when I ordered online. They don't make much effort to be clear about that.

Q: Hi, My Toothbrush head No. HX9034/65 can I use HX9033/65? please advise thank you

  • A: Hello! Yes, you can use an HX9033/65 brush head to your toothbrush that uses the HX9034/65 brush head.

Q: Why don't they CLEARLY state whether it's hard, medium or soft bristles? I bet even Sonicare workers don't even understand the difference between all of their options. This should be easy. It's not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It vibrates so it takes a little time to get used to it. The timer keeps the cleaning on track. Easy to charge and keeps it for several days. Recommended by my dentist I hope it provides a benefit.

Soft but Too Curvy

3 out of 5 stars
Mr Softie - 7 months ago

After blowing a lot of money on stiff/hard Philips replacement heads I found the G2 which is in fact soft. Many of the Philips heads are described as "soft" but on Philips website they are classified correctly as medium stiffness. Well, that's it for the good news lol. The head is Much smaller than either the Sensitive or G3 heads. It's tiny really. Like many of the Philips heads with hard plastic It will rattle like crazy if you let it hit your teeth. But Worst of All, the brush head is super-curvy so it vibrates a lot when you simply try to lay it flat on your teeth and gums. Suggestions: put a soft plastic cover over the hard plastic, make the brush head a standard size and Greatly Downsize the ridiculous brush curve.

I just brushed with this for the first time and I really liked it! Soft bristles and easy size to navigate. I was using the “sensitive” brush heads before, but they painful and were causing my gums to recede! Hoping these are better long-term.

I purchased a Protective Clean toothbrush last month. It came with a G2 brush head. I like to have spares so I purchased this 3 pack of G2's last week. Very happy with the price. speed of delivery. My only issue is that even though when ordering, the picture showed 3 brush heads but the description didn't state whether or not I had ordered 3 brush heads or 1 brush head. I obviously received 3.

I love this but the last couple of trips to the dentist have my teeth saying otherwise. I am not sure if I should be using this anymore. It used to make my mouth feel like I just left the dentist. I’m not sure if it is still good for the enamel.
