I had a tiny version of this as a kid, it was nice to find it again and get to play it. Easy game to play but makes you exercise your brain!

This game just doesn't do it for me. It's literally impossible to lose. Just pick a color and place 4 of the same as your first guess. When you get a hit on a spot keep that one and move on to the next color. There's only 6 colors so worst case scenario you get it on guess 6.

I purchased this game as I remembered enjoying it when I was young. My 17-year-old and I played it New Year's Eve, first time for her, and she really enjoyed it as well! The number of black and white pegs seems a little bit sparse, but we actually never ran out so I guess it is enough. Great for working on deductive reasoning skills while having fun!

My son loves this game. It is a game that involves logic and you have to think things through if you’re the codebreaker. I think people who enjoy chess would like this game. The games are relatively short—like 15 minutes or so.

I love this game! As advertised, it’s quick to learn, games don’t take too long, but not so easy to win. I’ve seen this game around for many years but never bought it, was intimidated by the name of game lol. Once you learn it, you can play different variations to make it even more challenging, for instance double colors. A great game to sharpen your logical reasoning, analytical, and hypothesizing skills.

We love this game! My kids played it with friends a while back and wanted one of their own. Santa brought it for them and they’ve enjoyed playing each other and us (mom & dad). One of the kids (17 year old) and I don’t usually enjoy puzzles, and I’d consider this a puzzle type of game, but we can actually play it without getting too frustrated to. It’s cheap plastic but worth the money. If there’s a deluxe or wood version I’d add it to my game collection.

This game is a classic, but it is missing a few simple components to make it great. the pegs do not have a cubby with a lid, so they are going to be lost. There are not enough of the marker pegs.

The game itself is great, however, the design of the box and board isn't : a lid should have been designed to store the pawn on the board, instead of the big plastic container that is bulky and useless. Also, there are not enough tiny white and black ''feedback'' pawns.
