Q: Is it gray and off white or gray and white?

A: I would say this rug has light gray stripes with a natural looking white... it's definitely not cream. It's just a nice, neutral white with no yellow undertones whatsoever. It looks great and does not clash with my white accents around the house. (If it were cream or ivory, I would not have bought it.)

A: Yes, I wash mine weekly-I have 4 of them. I have had them for about 6 months now and they still look great! Do not wash the rugs with backing. The latex inside the two layers (rug and backing) disintegrated.

Q: I have two questions #1. If this is 100% cotton why can't I throw it in the washing machine? #2. The description says it has a latex nonslip backing yet recommends a rug pad. So does it slip or not?

It came slightly stained.. I though no big deal, give it a try. Then my dog chewed up a lead pencil on it, got pencil marks all over. No big deal, I'll wash, scrub with dish soap, barkeeper's friend, magic eraser... NOTHING WORKED. The more I washed, the bigger the stain got. I received this rug 2 weeks ago. It looks like it's 10 years old. I wish I could return it.

Second time ordering this rug because we like it so much. While it doesn’t clean as well as some other rugs, it looks nice in our living room and we love the look of it. As others have stated it is harder to clean this rug but not impossible in our experience.

I thought I was going to love these rugs but boy was I wrong. After living with them for just a couple days, they look so dirty! I knew that it was risky getting a white rug but I thought it would clean much easier than it did. It shows every little thing. Don't make the mistake I did and buy the matching set for your whole house. Just terrible.

I have loved this rug for two years except for one factor - it does not clean well and stains easily. I've had the rug two years - the design is amazing and while its not the most comfortable rug, carpet cushioning underneath solved that problem. It has been durable - two years, one dog, three cats and no tears, pulls, or rips in the rug. Unfortunately, the rug is extremely stain prone and sensitive to water/cleaning materials - I have had it professionally steam cleaned, dry cleaned, self celaned using a bissel - nothing works to remove the pet, water spill, and coffee spill stains it has fallen victim to (sigh). I've spent more money attempting to rescue this rug than it would've cost to buy a new one (whoops - lesson learn - I was trying to be more sustainable). Its a wonderful rug - just not if you have kids, pets, etc. I will be purchasing a different, easier to clean rug from Target - the prices are unbeatable. But this rug unfortunately wasn't a forever rug for me.

This rug looked great for about a 3 days. Then I noticed how much dirt it started collecting and showing. I had it in the kitchen which is probably not the best place for it. Eventually, I took it to the laundromat to wash. The backing disintegrated and the white glue crumbled off. Another reviewer said she washes hers 1x a week. For me, the rug is ruined. I tried using a spot cleaner and it ruined the color. I tossed it out. Bummer, because it was pretty at first, for about 3 days. I'd love to see what other reviewers think of their rugs after 1-2 months of use!
