Q: Is this stove top safe? I make morrocan tea and it needs to boil in the kettle for a while in the stove top

A: This is a teaPOT not a tea KETTLE. With teapots you heat the water using a tea kettle, microwave or some other method. You put the hot water and then steep the tea bag or loose tea in the water for however long. Definitely do not put on the stove and personally, I wouldn't put it in the microwave either.

submitted byGrammy - 7 years agoA: I would doubt you can heat the teapot on the stovetop. I use the microwave--I put water and the teabag in the pot and put the pot in the microwave for 7 minutes.

Q: For the manufacturing- I have bought porcelain plates before and decorated with a marker for porcelain dishes. You are to bake it at low temp so the design sets in- can this be baked at 150 degree?

Q: How big is the hole in the top of the teapot? Specifically the diameter in mm, since another answered question stated that it did not have a built in infuser, and those are measured by diameter in mm.

I have had this teapot for about four years. I am about to order my second one---something fell out of a cupboard and landed on my first. It is solid and serviceable, reasonably easy to clean and appealing to look at. I purchased it originally to use with a ceramic cone pour- over for coffee. It worked wonderfully. I look forward to my new one arriving. Recommended.

Delivery was delayed but the tea pot itself was great. It’s of heavy porcelain so retains heat well. It’s big enough to make 3-4 cups of tea at once. The design is simple yet very functional. Love, love, love this teapot! Perfect size for me because I rarely need to prepare more than a liter. Lovely understated, elegant design but the porcelain doesn’t require kid gloves (easy clean, dishwasher safe). Haven’t had any issues with staining or chipping. Good weight & thickness but not unwieldy. No issues with dripping while pouring. Trying to keep small appliances to the bare minimum to avoid clutter on my kitchen counters so really happy I can easily heat my water in this teapot in the microwave and store/display in my china cabinet rather than having a clunky electric kettle sitting out. The porcelain also means no weird flavors that you can get from plastic & metal kettles. And such an affordable price! Highly recommend.
