I purchased two of these toilet plunger and brush sets. One of the toilet plungers has no noticeable smell, but the other plunger has a strong and unpleasant rubber smell to it. It's noticeable every time I walk into the bathroom. I was hoping that the smell would fade over time, but after two weeks the smell has remained the same. It's really starting to bother me. I have not had to use either plunger or brush yet, but from the smell alone I would not recommend this product.

I never really thought about the importance of a toilet brush and plunger until I had a family. It's such a simple thing, but it has made my life so much easier.
