All ages in our house (5, 9, 12 years to 45 years) have played it and enjoyed it. There are quite a few rules which can be a challenge for the younger ages (5-9) but with a little help it us enjoyed by all. The Flex avenue of the fame makes it a bit more intense and keeps the game moving at the same time.

It took a few rounds of practice play through for us to start getting the rules of the game and make more sense. Once we got it we couldn’t get enough and played for hours! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In our house, we love to play UNO so when we got UNO FLEX we were super excited. It is such a fun twist to an old favorite. The rules are pretty similar to original UNO, but there are some new cards added in for extra fun. There is now a power card and when your power card is green you can use the Flex option on any appropriate Flex cards in your hand. It was super easy to get the hang of. My 8 year old has wanted to play pretty much every day since it arrived!

We also has a lot of fun with the targeted cards. The new action cards definitely increase game play time. It makes it less predictable of who will win. You can easily get the person who called UNO, to get the most cards quickly.

It was such a fun experience to sit down with 3 of my kids ages 6, 9, and 11 to play this game this morning. I think that lovers of the original Uno game, we will be pleased with the new game, although I will admit that there is a bit of a learning curve to getting used to the new rules. However, after playing through one time, I had the rules down and it was great fun. I would definitely suggest this game as it will certainly add a whole new element of strategy to game play!

Since cards can be multiple colors they are like wild cards but with less options. This has definitely been added to our game night rotation.

As the adult I was a bit confused, let alone my 6 year old who loves the original Uno game. You have to keep the rules nearby to remember what all the wild cards mean.

The first game took a few turns to click, but once we did, we were able to start using to new rules for strategy and fun. Lot’s of laughter and enjoyment. We played a second game right away. A fun version of uno. It wasn’t to hard to manage the power card, and was part of the strategy to flip it or not sometimes.

I think this is a fun twist on Uno, especially if the original one gets too easy to play. The new rules are confusing in the beginning but they add a lot of unexpected twists to the game.
