Women's Midi Ballet Dress - A New Day™

Very cute and flattering dress. I usually wear medium but sized down to a small. Even then the shoulder straps are way too long, so I’m going to have to alter them.

I purchased a black dress in store and it fit pretty TTS, maybe slightly larger than anticipated (but I feel that about most of Target's women's clothing). I ordered XS and I am around 5'1", 33" bust, 25" waist, 36" hips, 27" inseam. The top bodice was slightly longer, hitting around the belly button, but still looked cute. The skirt hit mid calf in front and ankle length in back. The skirt reminds me of a nice bedsheet, in a good way, it is cool and smooth, great for warm weather. I love the pockets. I liked it so much that I ordered a second in black and a taupe online. The dresses I ordered online fit at least a size bigger in both length and width (I also had this happen when ordering Target's U tanks online vs store purchase). The bodice is so much bigger that I would probably need alteration so it wouldn't fall off. Find in store if you can, if ordering online, size down.

I purchased the Kelly green. I love the thickness and quality of the fabric. I received several compliments on this piece.

I absolutely LOVE this dress. I was skeptical because i’m short and high low doesn’t usually work for me. But this one is subtle enough that it works just fine. It is flattering through out the body. Being super short the “straps” around the shoulders are a little long but that is no fault of the dress seeing i’m 4’10” Will be buying in other colors!

Went down a size, fit perfectly. Love the color and pockets on the side.

The color is so summery and beautiful. The fabric felt nice, not too stiff on the bottom. I had to return to size down. I feel like I’m a solid size 12, 5’10” 182 lb, and the large was too big on top portion

This dress is a perfect comfortable summer dress! The top is ribbed tank top material, while the bottom is a more stiff fabric. The dress does run big and the straps are a big long. I tried on the Small and the XS. The dark blue was the small and the taupe was the XS. I'm normally between S and M, and for this one I will go with the XS. For reference I am 5'5" and 150 lbs.

It's just not attractive on heavier women. I am a size 16 and the XXL was large on me. Xl would have been better but still way too poofy. It might look good on someone tall, but I am doubtful.

The xsm fit me really well. For reference, I'm 5'3, 126 lbs and a 34C. Please make it in more colors! White, blush, lavender, cream...

I love the waist and how it flairs out. The straps are loose on me.

I ordered this to wear to my sister's graduation, and I am so glad I did. The top part is a ribbed material that fits well- the straps are a little loose, but alas. The skirt is a different fabric. The second fabric is lightweight and airy, so definitely breathable for outside wear during sunny days. I highly recommend this dress!!

Really Cute dress!! Love that it has pockets!

It’s been hard to find dresses that fit and are still cute as a mom in my 30s, but I’m so glad I tried this on! Ended up ordering black too. It does run big like people said - I am usually medium and size 10 in everything and needed a small. Please make more colors!!

This runs big, so size down. I’m normally a medium and got a small. I still had to taken in the straps. 5 ft 2 and 130 pounds.

I wish I had read the review before purchasing this dress. I got my usual size and it was too big. I liked almost everything else about the dress so I’m going to order it in a smaller size
