For best results, use at the first sign of a cold and continue to use until symptoms completely subside. Keep carton for complete warnings and information. 1. Hold tube between thumb and forefinger at the blue band. 2. With the other hand hold at base of handle and snap open tube. 3. Pull out swab. 4. Apply medication just inside first nostril. Using swirling motion, rotate swab 3 times within nostril. While swirling, gently press outside of first nostril to ensure transfer of medication. Re-dip swab in tube and mix to re-saturate with medication. Swirl 3 more times in the same nostril while gently pressing outside of nostril. Re-dip swab in tube and mix. Repeat identical sequence in second nostril. Do not insert swab more than 1/4 inch past nasal opening. Discard swab after use.Adults and children 12 years of age and older:

I have a chronic runny nose, it’s enough to drive a sane person crazy. Literally every second of the day I have to wipe my nose with a tissue. Nothing works. I got these nasal swabs because I feel like I have a cold or maybe allergies but I’m going on vacation in a few days so I wanted to get this just in case. Very first thing I noticed 30 minutes after the first use is my runny nose stopped! It is marketed for congestion but I can attest to runny nose too. I did effectively shorten a cold with the fast melts earlier this year and I was completely 100% better on day 3. I think the fast melts have zinc in them though, and from what I have read about zinc is to use it on the affected area so for example if your symptom is sore throat you should use a zinc lozenge or fast melt orally. If your symptom is nasal - then use an intranasal form. Not sure if there is a nasal swab with zinc, I thought these had zinc but it doesn’t appear so.

This works well if you take it either proactively or at the very first signs of a cold. It used to work better when zinc was an active ingredient. I wish Zicam would release a zinc version.

Love the product HATE the packaging. I’ve only had one of them not break on me. The cotton part falls off every time without fail, and they’re so hard to open sometimes. Definitely helps a lot with congestion. I’ve heard people say it completely gets rid of their sickness, I wouldn’t say I’ve experienced that, but I still think it helps.
