I've had a set of these for three summers now. Not only are they pretty at nighttime, they also have not cracked, peeled, or lost any of their color. The value is great for what you get though the cord is little short. I just wish that they came in a box of rainbow colors so that you didn't have to buy different colors in separate boxes but otherwise, I think that they look fantastic and they make my lanai really standout! Placed 8 strings on tree indoors. Perfect. The are pretty hardy if you are careful with forming the metal petals The color is very nice when lit and gives nice warm feel to the room. All 8 strings worked fine. Nicely pkged, as well, with no damage to all 11 sets ordered Heeded the short string comment, so ordered on high end. Very pleased. Well worth the price. see less

Used these for a celebration at our home. Weather outside was horrible - torrential rain and wind - but these beautiful lights cast such a soft glow, the effect in the room was magical! I hung them under our roof and fastened the solar panel with zip strips to catch the morning sun. They were charged right out of the box so I was able to see what they would look like right away! these lights are perfect ive always loved having string lights in my room and when i saw these in new moon i fell in love!!!! in total darkness they give off a cool pattern on my wall they arent too bright and not to dim. getting them out of the box was a bit of a hassle but what l've learned is tho shake them a bit and if balls fall off put them back on in a more secure place. the only thing is wait until these go on sale for [$] dollors they go on sale all the time and its worth the wait. i wish the string was longer, but overall amazing!!!! see less

The lanterns themselves are super cute, the green light cord, not so much. Could be used beautifully on a large Christmas tree along with oversized ornaments. Not too keen on keeping the green cord exposed but for what it is, it works nicely. I also imagine it rusts quickly. see less

We have a 10 x 12 gazebo and the lights fit well. The instructions indicated to attach the lights to the gazebo cover, but we had extra of the bigger clips so we used them to attach the light wires to the gazebo frame. I like 'em. It's nice to be able to hang string lights when there's no electrical power source nearby! They don't charge very well on anything other than perfectly sunny days, but no surprise there. It would be nice if the set came with a couple of spare "sun" pieces, since I've already lost one, and I've only had them up a week. see less

I like the look of the lights even though they are very small. My main gripe with them is they use batteries up quickly. Even the rechargeable ones don't last but a nite or two. Cute, but I will not order any more. see less

These lights, for [$]!, were a big disappointment. Unfortunately, after setting them up and tearing open the box, I doubt there is any way to return said purchase. While the lights are pretty, they stay lit only for a couple hours. I followed the directions and even kept my lights off so they could solar charge for a few days to no avail. I should have kept with the cheaper lights from [...]. I am sure the quality is about the same. see less

These lanterns would probably be good for one use. The paper is fairly thin and seems that it would tear pretty fast. The only thing I really didn't like was that the cord was green. I had hoped everything would be white, so I ended up returning. see less

I love these outdoor lanterns, My deck is in a dark area of the yard and they give off a warm glow at night, just enough so you can look out over the deck and stairs. The only thing they could improve on is to make them connect end to end. But I will definately buy more again next year if I need replacements. see less

These lanterns are cute and fun. They are a little more brightly colored than I expected, and are covered with plastic mesh and not paper, but they are still nice-looking and a decent value for the money (especially since I got mine on sale). see less
