My 17 year old son was looking for a fire pit for our backyard that he could use when his friends came over. We did not want to make a major investment and the price of this item was just right. But I was skeptical about how good it would be - hard to tell from the pictures. It came on time, was well made, had a nice grate cover and a plastic cover for covering it when finished to protect it from the rain. It is quite an impressive product and we are all happy with it. I broke a piece of granite when I dropped it on the grass while assembling, but it doesn't appear to be a problem. It was very easy to assemble...30-60 minutes for one person...and looks beautiful for the price. I would definitely recommend to a friend. see less

Got this to use for our backyard patio and it's great. For our cool midwest fall evenings it's just what we needed. Went together fairly easily and had no problems with broken tiles. Another plus, the tiles around the pit do not get hot. Therefore it's nice to be able to put your feet and drinks on it without getting burned. see less

I've been looking for a fire pit/ fire table for a long time. Some were too big; some were cheap looking; many were overpriced. When I ran across this one in Target's ad, it looked like the perfect choice - and when it arrived, I was thrilled to discover that it was even BETTER than it looked on the website! It was well-packaged and easy to assemble, and is a good solid, sturdily constructed piece. It's the perfect size for the patio area, and is very attractive. The glass mosaic tiles are just the right touch; not overly ornate or cheesy, but with a bit of understated class, especially as they reflect the flames. If you have a Red Card, well, I'd look no further. There is another big box retailer who occasionally has this table for cheaper, but with a shipping discount you likely can't beat it. It works like a champ, all our neighbors are jealous, and everyone thinks we spent a fortune on it. I have read a lot of positive reviews about this fire pit at other websites that offer it for sale. Hundreds of great reviews. It will take a minimum of two people (one has to help hold items in place at times while another screws in bolts) approximately two hours to assemble. It is packaged very well, instructions were mostly visuals/pictures, but step by step. Easy to turn on and off. Came with a cover for the propane tank (to make it blend into the dark metal sides) and a cover for the entire fire pit! We were able to use a propane gas level indicator on the tank which will eliminate guessing how much gas remains before a refill would be needed. LOVE THIS FIRE PIT! Compared to other propane fire pits of this size and quality, the price is reasonable. see less

I searched quite a bit to find a nice round firepit as a holiday gift for my parents. This was the most affordable option I found that looked attractive so I gave it a chance. Glad I did! When it was opened and set up (took all of 5 minutes), I thought it was sturdier and more attractive than I anticipated for the price -- it's a nice size. It is made in pieces so that it can be stored or carried to campsites or parties, and goes together very easily. The cut-out design area has a black metal mesh behind it to keep sparks and flames inside. It also comes in a nice little canvas carry case that fits it perfectly. It was a big hit and affordable enough that I could add some fun accessories to the gift. Hopefully it will hold up well -- but even it it rusts a bit, I think it will serve it's purpose. A fun place in the backyard to roast marshmallows and share family fun together. My parents are enjoying it! see less

I admit that I ordered mostly on looks alone, but was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and durable the piece is. It's a relatively substantial piece with good weight, although not too heavy that's it's tough to move around. Despite what some have said, the assembly was a cinch (even the the cover) and it works beautfully. I don't keep wood in the storage area so I don't know whether the wood underneath burns, but I love that the piece is large enough to put a fair amount of firewood in at a time. I bought this gift as a present for my parents patio and they loved it! The copper pit is the way to go because it's solid and durable. This is a great deal given most heavy copper/durable pits cost $[...]+ more than this one. I would recommend this to anyone.It is very easy to assemble and was shipped in a matter of days. The only down falls is the stand that holds the copper pit was a little uneven due to the way it was manufactured. A couple of the screws didn't match up with the holes. I was able to get all screws in accept one and it wasn't noticable. see less

Very sturdy, thick and heavy bowl compared to my last one which is why I bought it. Easy assembly. Cheap plastic cover is the only con. Being that it is cast iron it is susceptible to rust. I bought a some black / high temp rustoleum spray paint and painted the stand, the screen cover and the bottom of the outside of the bowl. The screen fire cover is also not very strong. I don't use it because I like bigger fires which this bowl is capable of handling. I use it 2-3 times a week and am very satisfied. see less

Was a bit of a pain to assemble, but you have to expect that. We've had 4 fires in it so far & it. So far so good but it is already starting to show small signs of rust. I suggest the high-heat Rustoleum BEFORE you use it???? My hubby refused to spray it before we used it so who knows. I like the size of this unit & the top 2 pieces are not attached so you can open the top & place in a larger piece of wood if wanted. So far fires have started up easily with the raised pieces in the bottom & I love the screen around it to save my clothing from the popping embers.I just hope it makes it for at least 2-3 seasons since it cost me close to [price].The cover that's included fits perfectly. Just be careful not to rip it on the hinges or handle. see less

We have had several outdoor fireplaces and this one is the worst. It is very poorly made. We only used it once and it warped to the point it wabbles. The screening also warped so there are large gaps between the screen and the top/bottom. The door does not close properly anymore. After one week outside with no rain the unit is rusting too. Also, it is hard to clean out as there is no way to remove the bottom without taking it apart. Save your money !! see less

I really like the pit. It is alot larger than I thought it would be. Haven't had a chance to use yet hope thing weekend. I have only one problem, don't know if you can use it on a composit deck, or do you have to put fire bricks under it if you are using it there. I have no problem moving it around, I am small in size. My granddaughter thinks it is really nice. Can't wait to do marshmallows, shes only 5. see less
