I purchased this last year for my newborn daughter. I was so excited when it arrived because it is so cute with all the pink. It worked great for the first few months with only occasional use but then after the first few months it started making a loud whirring sound for the first few minutes after we turned it on each time. Eventually it has ended up making that noise the entire time we have it on, needless to say we don't use it right now. [...]. I would just recommend if you do buy this that you keep your receipt. I still love it but am interested to see how the second one holds out.

I got this as a daily deal, and was a little skeptical given some reviews, but it's been great so far. It's really cute and has helped my daughter during her recent cold.

I have had my Hello Kitty Humidifier for a few years now. You have to clean it every so often so it does not get clogged with bacteria from water that sits in the reservoir and inside the unit itself. I would recommend using vinegar to clean it. If you only use it sparingly, you might want to make sure that it is clean and there is no water left in the unit or reservoir. Hope this helps! The price is a bit high nowadays. I paid [$] when new. Still it is a cute item but you have to maintain it t o really make it worth your money.

I bought this humidifier for my daughter's Hello Kitty themed room. My daughter was ecstatic that it was H.K. and I was glad that it seemed to be keeping her un-stuffy so far. However, tonight when we turned it on the thing started making a really loud clicking sound and then started smoking. I turned it off immediately and unplugged it. I called Target Customer Service and spoke to an amazingly nice CS girl and they are sending me a replacement. I haven't interacted with their CS before an d they made this experience super easy! Let's cross our fingers the next one doesn't do this!!

I love Hello Kitty, so I couldnt wait to get this when I had my first daughter. I got it as for my shower, and was so happy that my friend ordered it for me. When my daughter started to get sick we set it up in her room, after she was a few months old, sadly, we used it for a few weeks before the motor went, it makes a loud humming sound. We turn it on and off several times before it sounds better. I tried to contact the company but I have thrown away the target receipts and cant access my regi stry so Im stuck, not sure what to buy now. I would have loved to keep this in her room, and Im so disappointed by the CRANE.

This humidifier is adorable, and a good price. My daughters room is decorated in Hello Kitty and it of course blends in perfect. It's easy to clean and maintenance and its very quiet. If I even need to get another one I will definitely be getting this brand again.

I purchased this humidifier for a baby shower off of a registry. I haven't actually seen the item, but the person I bought it for is very happy with it. She has it all set up in the baby's room and ready for use. The ordering process was easy and the item was delivered very quick!

My daughter loves Hello Kitty, so I got this for her room. I returned it because it was huge and looked cheap. I have the elephant humidifier by Crane and really like it & think it is cute, so assumed the kitty one would be too. The plastic on the elephant is smooth and shiny, whereas the kitty is a dull matte finish & I thought it looked tacky, especially on that big pink bow.

This humidifier works GREAT for my daughter's room! I love the fact that it emits cool mist...this way she can breathe a lot easier without sweating to death as she sleeps. I wish it had an Auto-Off function, but other than that it's an excellent buy. It also holds a gallon of water, so even on the highest setting it takes two nights to use it all (I only run it while she sleeps). I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

I love hello kitty and it is the decor for my daughters room. We bought one when she was first born...and I was so happy with it at first. But, it didn't even last the winter before it broke. aka - motor started failing and it started making some terrible loud noises. We ended up having to buy another one since we figured it was just a defective one we got.How WRONG we were. Within almost the exact time frame, the second one also started getting louder in noise. Sometimes resetting the water ta nk would get rid of the noise, but this 'trick' didn't work after awhile. Bascially, this one has also crashed over time and now I am looking into new humidifier, BUT won't be buying this one again. It's obviously defective in design. You may buy one and it will work initially. But, chances are, the quietness of it will be very short lived. If you don't want to buy a new humidifer each year, then pass on this, in spite of how absolutely adorable it is.
