Worked great for a few months. But it stopped working correctly. When you press the button down to cook it heats for a minute or two and them pops up to the warm position and you cannot get it to stick in the cooking position.

I wasn't sure about purchasing this product, but am ever so glad that I did. I had never had homemade rice until I now. I will never go back to box rice or instant rice again. Totally worth it.

I love this rival rice cooker. My family loves rice and this is the best way to cook it. I can get my rice started and continue with cooking other dishes without worrying about overcooking my rice. It makes perfectly moist rice every time!

We have had this rice cooker for several years, and it's still doing a great job. The rice always comes out great - brown or white - and it's a speedy little thing. We love it and would definitely buy another one in lieu of a more expensive model.

My son is so disgusted with his burnt rice. I saw this, purchased it for him for Christmas. He was delighted and said that his rice would no longer be burnt but be "happy".

My husband and I bought this rice cooker on sale last fall and love it. We've used it quite a bit and always have had good results with both the rice and items steamed on top. Of course we read the directions that came with it.

This is a great rice cooker for the price, and is nice and small for the amount of rice it makes. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out it came with a steamer tray (although I doubt I'll use it) and it cleans easily. The only two things that bothered me is that there was no alarm when it was done (though it keeps it warm until you take it out, so it's not like you'll have to reheat it) and the measurements were a little confusing at first (though I think all rice cookers are like that). T hat said, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a rice cooker/steamer in this price range.

I was very impressed with this steamer. I cooked brown rice and replaced the water with chicken broth...yummy! The most important thing in the directions is...using the measuring cup provided. It adheres to rice industry standards (180ml) and is not equal to one U.S. cup (240ml)If you use your own measuring cup you will probably have to much water and spray over, so use the measuring cup provided and you should have perfect rice.Read pages 4-6
