I have been using this stuff for 20+ years. Pure castile, you can use it for shampoo, body scrub, even brush your teeth with it (it does taste a little soapy)....nice to see I can get it at Target now and not have to hunt it down in those snooty health food stores.
This soap is great for cleaning everything!1) I keep it on hand as a cleaner for my fine washables. It cleans thoroughly and rinses quickly but leaves a very light scent. Also, it does a good job of getting out musty smells from stored clothing. 2) Use it on your make-up brushes- it'll get them clean (and conditioned!) without any nasty chemicals3) Use it to clean paint brushes. It works a wonder on oil paint- no need to buy expensive brush soap.4)I do use this as a regular soap on occasion but I find it a bit drying for winter use. However, during the summer time the mint makes you feel about 20 degrees cooler and has helped me survive some very hot and sweaty summers of physical labor.
I use the peppermint for EVERYTHING: diluted for shampoo/body wash AND toothpaste, a couple of squirts in the laundry, a squirt or two in the mop bucket - I even use it diluted to bathe the dog! The tea tree oil one is great as well! The lavender is a lovely scent and I love to use that one to wash the sheets. Be careful with the peppermint in the shower - you might not want to use it in a strong version in sensitive areas.
After reading about this soap's cleaning qualities in Real Simple magazine, I noticed it on sale at Target and thought I would try it. I love it! It smells wonderful, is mild and doesn't leave a film. I have used it to clean my travertine floors, granite countertops, dishes, spots off my walls, the list is endless.
I have sensitive skin and never had a problem with this. The peppermint fragrance is a little strong but also refreshing. I just use it in the shower and it only takes a small dab on the shower puff to create enough lather for me. rinses cleanly and does not leave a film on the skin. I love it.

I personally would give this soap a 10 if there was a such rating. The smewll of this is amazing!! I use this soap for anything, from dishes to laundry to using it for body wash to shampoo. This is truly an all purpose soap. I must warn you if you are NOT used to all natural soaps this will definately be different than the "shampoo" you are currently using. I gets all the crud off your hair so make sure you also buy a very great all natural conditioner as well. This soap is totally sa fe for everyone to use..you might want to use the unscented on baby though.

I love peppermint soaps and shampoos, and this one's pretty good. I like castile soap because you can use it anywhere, for just about anything, and it does not disappoint there. It does leave a bit of that tight/dry feeling you sometimes get with bar soaps, but diluting it with a bit of water helps. My issue with it is the label and all of the strange religious text all over it. It makes it hard to find the directions for recommended use and, frankly, I don't want or need religious advice from my soap. If the labeling doesn't bother you, it's a decent product, the peppermint is nice and strong, but I don't think I'd use it in my hair, it strips a little too much oil out.

I bought this after hearing about it from a beauty guru on youtube. [...]. I've used so many skincare products [...].. and even saw a dermatologist who didn't help me. For so long I've had a rash near my hairline around my face and clogged pores. I've always had trouble with acne and nothing ever completely solved it. I started using this and only this AND NOW MY SKIN IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I will never use anything else ever again! My rash cleared up completely and my skin is completely smooth. N o more acne!!! The only thing is that it's kind of drying however i have combination skin and it helps keep my oiliness under control. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!
