Five Star 100pg College Ruled Refillable 1" Notebinder Flex (Colors May Vary): Lined Paper, Flexible Cover, 8.5x11 Inches

My son used this last year in H.S. It's much lighter than a traditional hard-covered binder, however considering that it holds 5 subjects, we found the ring to be kind of small. He had to periodically take sheets out in order to accomodate new work which was restrictive. This year we purchased the larger 1.5" ring version which is much bigger. It doesn't come with plastic dividers which I had to purchase separately and an added expense. Wish Five Star would offer the same set up in the 1.5" ring size as well.

This is a game changer. You can costumize it how you want to use it. It comes with a starter stack of college ruled paper, a few pocket folders that you can store so much additional papers and a few dividers that you can store lose papers. Just like a notebook in that you can fold it over, the same applies to this which is super neat. BEST notebook for college.

If ordering online they will send you a random color (that is in the description but just in case wanted to add). The color I got sent was a light purple- almost lavender. It comes with paper and 5 dividers. It’s honestly a really nice notebook that you can customize and keep using to fit your needs.

Guaranteed to last a year?! In what Narnia fantasy world would this pathetic cardboard (which is basically what this is) manage lasting a year?! A far cry from what I need but that's what I get from trusting the internet as opposed to my own eyes and hands. Buyer beware.

Very practical, and useful especially for school use.

This is my favorite way to organize my college notes and even in graduate school I returned to this method. I love the ability to take notes in and out. I tried using only a folder but it fills up fast and the chance of it spilling out makes me nervous. These are great

I love using the notebooks for work and school. They are easy to use and full of multiple pockets and dividers. I don’t worry about the rings popping out and releasing paper.

dislike: the spiral broke and twists in a way whete it doesn't open correctly. I had high expectations and this mix between a notebook and binder is not worth the price or hassle.

I really like this notebook but there's a large design flaw. the way the rings open is uneven so if you want to put a bunch of stuff in it, it's hard to get it in and then close the rings. they should have thought about the design more.

Not kidding when I say I’ve been using this binder for years. I’ve used one every year since 7th grade. I’m on my second year in college. If you stuff the first three dividers in too much they’ll break and rip. I learned that the first tree times I bought them. I also learned that mead sells individual folders with pockets. I get the 5 pack. They’re divided and they have tabs. They are more durable. Honestly love these !

I was really looking forward to using these last year! After about a week the folders on the inside broke out and the outside covers began to crack (and I did not use them roughly)

i use this for all 8 of my classes. it works great and i love how i can fit everything in the folders inside of it and then i still have plenty of room for paper. i struggled with organization because i hated binders and i hated clipping everything in and with this i can just simply slide the papers into their designated folder.
