I tried the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Cream Cleanser for oily skin and was impressed with how deeply it cleans without being harsh. The texture is creamy but still gives that purified, fresh feeling after rinsing. It really helps remove excess oil and leaves the skin looking cleaner and more refined. Great cleanser
This is a great cleanser. I had been using a facial cleanser that worked fine and was gentle, but it didn’t foam and I didn’t feel my face was that clean afterwards. This cleanser only requires a small dab, though make sure you rub it vigorously between your wet hands for a few seconds to get those bubbles, and afterwards, my face feels very clean. It gets off greasy sunscreen and makeup, etc. yet leaves my face feeling soft and not tight. My only concern is that I haven’t used it yet in the winter, when my facial skin tends to get very dry. Because you use so little each time, a bottle this size will last you a long time.

Phenoxyethanol, hormone disruptor.
Phenoxyethanol is a problematic ingredient. It’s in so many products too, which stacks the risks for consumers. Once I stopped using products with phenoxyethanol, I stopped having miscarriages. Use with caution.
