I've ordered many coffee mug warmers over the years, including USB powered warmers, and Mr. Coffee is the BEST! after two days, I threw the USB powered warmers away . . . It was useless . . . Then, I happily ordered my WONDERFUL Mr. Coffee mug warmer, which has kept my coffee warm right out of the box and is warming my coffee mug as I write thid review. Keeps warm at 130 degrees F
When I poured the coffee (yes I like it weak!) the temperature was around 140 degrees. After just a short while on the warmer, it was 130 degrees and stayed there. It's a consistent temperature and I can live with it, but I do wish it was a little bit hotter. The cord is a great length at 5'8". It is not a seamless design on top (see pic) and if you spill your beverage on it, it could leak into the warmer. The design by the light and the switch, although it looks nice, will not be easy to clean. It has a simple on/off switch. The light is not very bright so it is not easy to tell if it is on. The diameter of the heating area is 3 1/4" so larger mugs will not fit.

Disappointed
This is not my first Mr. Coffee cup warmer. I was given one as a gift several years ago and wanted to have another on hand when the first one died. Because it had worked so great for me, and I was so happy with it, I naturally purchased another one to replace it. What a disappointment. It sort of works... doesn't seem to keep the coffee as warm as the old one did. First thing that I noticed was that the "on" light doesn't work. It's in there wrong or something... you can only see it when you pick it up and look where the cord enters the plate. I can't see it when it is sitting next to me. Second, the finish on the hotplate area is wearing off just from taking the cup on and off. I never saw this on the other one. Sadly, the quality of this mug warmer is nothing near the original one I had. I am so disappointed. Photos included: (1) the surface of the hot plate; (2) the on light showing on the side where the power cord goes in; (3) the hot plate turned on - can't see light from above; (4) the hot plate turned off - light looks the same as when it is on.

Very DISAPPOINTED in this second one!!
This is the second Mr. Coffee Mug Warmer I’ve had and I’m very disappointed with it! My first on was a gift and it kept my beverages at whatever temperature they were when I put the mug on it, which was GREAT for me, because I like my beverages hot! I loved it, and took it whenever I traveled! This one, however, is not doing that and my beverages are ending up not hot, only warm. I’ve also noted that the heating plate I sit my cup on wobbles, rocking back and forth as I touch the cup! It’s much lighter weight than the one I was replacing. I am VERY disappointed and think I need to return it and purchase another brand.

To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the mug warmer. Let the unit rest for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards, plug it into a different wall outlet. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the mug warmer's performance. Your mug warmer has a 1-year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly in order to help you get to the best resolution. Warm coffee but...
This mug keeps beverages warm, but it scratches very easily. Some ceramic mugs can have small burrs on them. My warmer scratched the second time I used it. I have had two others for at least 10 years. They never scratched. I returned this mug.

Inadequate. Very disappointing
Keeps coffee warm, which is ok for me, but many people like their coffee hot. The black finish on the heating plate starts to come off right away--which makes it the warmer unsightly. The switch location at the back of the unit is inconvenient and awkward--it should be on the side or in front and should be a rocker switch, not a slide switch (which requires two hands, one to slide the switch, the other to hold the warmer in place while ooperating the switch). "ON-OFF" indicator light is so dim, it's difficult to tell whether it's on or off under normal lighting. I have always liked the Mr. Coffee brand, but this item doesn't cut it. I use it, daily, but each time I use it, I'm reminded of its inadequacy--a small daily frustration that nobody needs. Model MWC.

I’ve had this product for a couple years. It’s OK, but far too weak. I put a cover over my tea and it still only stays slightly warm. I also wish it had an automatic shut off so it’s not a fire hazard.

This follows me around at home because I always take forever to drink my coffee. It doesn’t keep it piping hot, but still warm, which doesn’t bother me at all. The coating on the heated part has chipped away since using it, but it doesn’t affect the function. The coating comes off
I received this warmer as a Christmas present and used it for 2 days. After 2 days, the coating on the warmer plate bubbled and peeled off. I exchanged the mug warmer for another one and used the warmer for one day and the coating on the warmer plate is also bubbling and peeling off. I will return the mug warmer but not to exchange but to get our money back. Very disappointed in the quality of the product.
