Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Product! I have had this flat iron for four years before it finally died. It perfectly straightened my thick hair and the quality is great for the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good customer service! Like other reviewers, I loved this flat iron right out of the box. Heats super fast and glides nicely over your hair. However, after a couple of months, I had trouble with it not heating correctly and taking several minutes to heat rather than a few seconds. I contacted Remington's customer service and they informed me there was a 2 year warranty. I gave them a code from the iron and they're mailing me a prepaid label to ship it to them and will issue me a new one! I did NOT buy the $4 warranty available from Target. Only negative is that the return process will take 10+ days. For something that I use every day, that's a long time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it till the day it died, now searching for a similar one My friend bought me the Remington Pearl Straightener Model s-9500. I have super curly and frizzy hair and this straightener worked so well until the day it died. Two days ago to be exact. But since I've had it for around 4 years I have to say that it has been the longest lasting one I've ever owned and by far my favorite one. I can straighten my hair quickly, I don't have to keep going over the same section over and over, one slow swipe and it's good. And my hair never got caught in it like some straighteners and it heats up quickly. I don't know what one I'll get next but something similar to this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done! I needed a replacement to my flat iron which was past overdue. I initially liked this flat iron due to its sleek design and longer plates. I did not even realize when buying but it has a lock feature which keeps it closed for storage/packing. It really does heat up in 30 seconds and I like the safety auto-shut off feature in case you forget to leave it on. Great price and quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Remington Flat Iron For the price, this is a really good flat iron. Ceramic, which is always good and I like the sleek, digital design. I had the old version of this flat iron and it lasted forever. I have thick, coarse hair and I don't need to turn it up super high, which is also nice. Good buy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features. Love it. It's has saved me so much time doing my hair now. It heats up so fast and I'm not spending a lot of time on my hair anymore. And it's straighter then with my old one. Great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from you get what you pay for This heats up nicely but it pulls my hair as I glide it. The buttons are also placed where I would normally put my thumb while using it so there's a major design flaw there as I have changed settings or turned it off accidentally.
