Q: Does the chrome last long, or does it corrode after time?

A: I've had this dispenser for at least three years, it gets heavy use, and the chrome finish didn't start to degrade until a few months ago. I may it again because I like how unique it looks!

Clean the pump tops regularly and to clear them of clogged soap, take off the pump, immerse it in water, pump it several times until it runs clear, and then replace it.

Q: I've had to buy 2 of these because after a week it only put out little bubbles. Returned one, got the other & same thing. Have to rinse it every other use. It's like plastic tubing is taking in air. It's not usable! Don't know the fix..

A: it is actually plastic painted chrome. after a few years of using this in our bathroom it is peeling and you can see that it is plastic.

A: I've been using this with regular liquid gel soap, but every couple days it stops working. I've tried thinning it with water which works a bit longer, but eventually stops again. What am I doing wrong?

It’s awful, I wish I could get my money back I bought 2 of them and both of them stopped working the second day of use. You’re better off going to Ross even to dollar tree.. it’s horrible they don’t work

I have the same criticism that all other 1-star reviews have. The pump mechanism became faulty after a couple weeks of use. My theory is that the head of the piston that lies at the base of the pump becomes deformed and instead of using the pressure built up to dispense at the proper end of the tubing, it instead draws soap up the length of the pump handle and it gets all over the pump handle and lid surface. It reacts with the metal (brass I am assuming) which makes it green and unsightly. The lid is one solid piece and cannot be disassembled to fix this or even confirm it so it ruins the whole thing. Chatted with a live agent and received a $15 e-Gift card because I could not return the used pump.

I can’t find a single soap dispenser that lasts more than 6 months. This one in particular doesn’t like to pump out the soap at all, occasionally it’ll work but 90% of the time, no. The top also had all of the silver scratched off exposing white plastic and now the whole top turns green daily.
