I'm a first time mom so I don't know much about what to look for in a baby crib. I just knew that I wanted something cute, sturdy and affordable and I feel like I got the best of all three with this crib!
It took my boyfriend under an hour to put this together. He could have done it alone, but I'd say you need two people to do it - it was really helpful at times for me to hold pieces together for him while he screwed them together.
The quality of this is great. It's very sturdy and is made of a good quality wood, none of that cheap stuff that wears out easily. The finish is also amazing, it wasn't scratched or dinged up any. We plan on converting this to a toddler bed, then to a full size bed as our daughter grows and I'm sure that it will last for many years to come.
The only thing I'm not crazy about, is that there were no caps for the screws, so the tops of the screws are visible. It kinda stands out against the white finish, but it's not a huge deal. I can easily paint the screwheads if it bothers me that bad.
For the level of quality and style this crib brings, I'd say the price of [$] was an amazing value. I've looked at other cribs that cost almost twice as much and they didn't seem as stylish or as sturdy as this one. We ordered the matching changing table and I'm sure that it will be just as amazing! Now we just wait for the baby to get here so she can use it!
My husband and I were able to put this together within about 15 minutes. It is both beautiful and seems to be solid. We are currently in the process of ordering the conversion rails to store until they are needed in a year or so. So far, we LOVE it!
After looking online and in several stores, I decided to go with this crib. I ordered the chocolate and it is the same color as pictured. It is heavy and sturdy and took my fiance no time to assemble it. He did it by himself while I was working so it wasn't hard. It is a gorgeous crib put together. Its big and roomy, and it is by far my favorite piece of furniture I own. It so pretty put together. Well worth the money. My baby isn't here yet, but I can't wait for him to use it for years to come since it is a convertible.
