don’t bother with the screw covers if you have animals or babies, my cat immediately started pulling them off and chewing on them. It is uneven no matter how many times i try to fix it, and the backing for two of the shelves is cardboard. hardly sturdy, but you get what you pay for. not surprised I saw many of these with shipping labels on the store shelves, obviously returned. you have to be very precise with how you nail in the nails for the backing, or else it will split and look horrible. only keeping because i am a broke college student.

This is cheaply made. I did not realise from the picture that there is no back in the middle cube area nor that the backing is cardboard. If it had a solid back it would be worth the money but it is flimsey as made.

I bought 2 of these to use as nightstands for my bed since my bed sits pretty high. During assembly when putting the screws in I had to be extremely careful not to strip out the pre drilled screw holes. Even being very careful I still stripped several, I wasn’t using a powered driver I was just using a regular screw driver and every time when it stripped the screw didn’t even get tight. I had bought a larger cube organizer last year for $35 which was very nice quality so I assumed this would be comparable but this is very cheap 1/2” particle board.
