Q: How do you sync music to the lights? ia there an app that you would use?

A: As a follow up....adjust the sensitivity of the reaction using the Volume down and Volume up buttons on the remote. Note, sound reaction depend on the volume and distance of the music from mic.

The light strip will will likely be easier to remove from a glossier paint surface rather than a flat paint. I hope this is helpful. A: The strip light has a sound reactive microphone built into the USB connector. Select one of the sound reactive modes on the remote control and the lights will react. Use V-/V+ to adjust sensitivity.

Q: I have two of these LED strips next to eachother, and I think the remotes someone got mixed. One LED strip is fine, but the other does not display all of the colors any more. can this be fixed?

Purchased these to place under a PC riser I made for my partner for Christmas. You do have to make sure the white and black plugs are facing the correct way for the lights to work. Controller also has a plastic strip you need to remove before using. Some features don't work the greatest and need very loud sounds to activate but otherwise it works great. Adhesive is very sticky, too and it seems to be holding up well.

When I purchased these short lights I thought it would be great.. It was other than that, I got two packs one didn't even turn on. though I followed complicated instructions. The others plug and lights were not working. It seems as though these lights were broken before I had made the purchase. I suggest getting longer and WORKING lights.

Remote doesn't work unless you're like 3 feet away and have it angled ever so specifically. The colors, also, are not customizable and are barely even accurate. Frustrating and a waste of money.

i've barely had the item a day - more like 12 hours - and in that time, the adhesive has fallen away from the monitor it was attached to, which led to me purchasing a heavier duty double-sided tape. upon doing reattaching it to my monitor, the actual strip split from the receiver, now making it inoperable unless i either spend more money to get a connector to reattach the receiver and strip together again or buying an entirely new product. spend a little extra now and get a more quality product.
