A:Â Katrina is mistaken. Pewter is a grayish silver metallic finish. The box it arrived in even said burnished black. It's a copper base with a putrid black/brown painted all over it. Promptly sealed and returned.

I was excited for this bed frame as it is beautiful and looks exactly like the picture. it was also very easy to assemble, however, I have had it less than a year and it has caused nothing but problems. The design was poorly executed and it's honestly better to save your money. the middle "legs" are shorter than the main 4 legs and tilt with every toss and turn. We are having to repair to bed frame ourselves because it was made with cheap materials. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS.

I have looked for a metal bed for over a year. I finally chose this one and am so happy that I did! It arrived quickly, was packaged wonderfully and the assembly was so easy! This is a solid, unique piece that doesn’t squeak, slide or move. I also love the color which is more of a bronze which I wanted. This is a great purchase!!

Chic, modern and high quality bed frame

So pleased with this product! The bed frame is very sturdy and high quality. The box is quite heavy, so definitely a 2 person job to move it. In my opinion, a sturdy(ie heavy) bed frame is a good thing! No one wants a flimsy bed. But putting the frame together couldn’t have been easier. All in all, it only took about 30 minutes to put the whole thing together, start to finish. I love the finished look and my teenage son is very happy with his new bed!
