Q: The description says "no boxspring required" but the specs say a boxspring is required. Which is the correct info? Can this bed support a mattress without a boxspring?

A: We do not have a box spring with my daughter’s mattress. It’s very low, and I eventually want to get one, but it works perfectly fine without one. It has slats that go from side to side at small, regular intervals.

The base is nice and sturdy. The dark bronze color is powder coated so it has the iron feel. For a hundred bucks and change it’s well worth it.

The holes are not drilled correctly, which makes it VERY difficult to assemble. Putting it together was way harder than it should be. I was expecting better quality. Love the look of the bed, but because of the poor assembly, it creaks and clicks when you move on the bed—not for the restless sleeper. Good thing it’s in the guest room. Will be looking for a replacement bed frame soon.

I bought the twin in bronze for my daughter's first "big girl" bed. Turned out to be perfect, especially since I can use it at the lowest height now when she is still small and raise it up when she is older. It is a beautiful, solid bedframe that was simple to put together. What a great find and for an amazing price!

Good design however it was damaged on arrival. Side rails have to be replaced. Requesting replacement parts as the bed itself looks like it will be great for guests. Originally Ordered expedited and paid extra shipping to get this fast but new parts take two weeks. Disappointing to say the least. I’m keeping it because it’s a unique solution for small spaces. I’m giving it 4 stars because I really like the design and sometimes damage happens.

Cannot say enough great things about this bed. It is sturdy and beautiful!! It has optional height levels (2) which make it a platform bed with just mattress, and a regular bed with mattress and boxspring. Both heights are attractive and not too low. For $200 and change you can't go wrong here. I will be purchasing another.

I bought this bed for me a year ago and I love it! It's so easy to put together. It's sturdy and You do NOT need anything but a mattress! It's built to last forever. I just bought one for my granddaughter who loves it. I highly recommend this bed.

This bed arrived in one large and heavy box. All the pieces were there and assembly was very easy. The screws came labeled and organized on shrink wrapped cardboard. The instructions were clear and it only took about 20 minutes to assemble. The finish of the bed is a textured powder coat type paint. There are two mattress height options. The only complaint is a sticky label on one leg that will need label remover applied.

Wish I could give no stars. Horrible product made very poorly. Just from assembly have multiple scratches on it. Pieces do not match up so had to take the bed apart multiple times just to kinda get it to fit. Took 4.5 hours to put together not because the instructions were hard to follow, but because of how they fit together. Would not recommend unless you want to spend pointless hours putting together and taking it apart to have a scratched up frame

Like the look but started to assemble and noticed damaged parts. Called the manufacturer and they said they couldn’t ship replacement parts, so I had to lug everything back to the store. Then I went to purchase the same bad and it’s out of stock. Can’t win.

Good looking, sturdy, easy to assemble and delivered early. We thought we were missing a piece and the manufacturer couldn't have been more helpful. We were wrong, called them, and they were very nice about the mistake. We replaced an antique bed with this in our 19th century house and it works fine--has an older bed vibe and newer bed sturdiness and construction. And you cannot beat the price.
