This comforter it was rough when I bought it and after the first wash, it became soft, but now has a lot of fluff. It’s a very low quality comforter, and now looks older than my other comforters. I use it as a blanket and that’s the only good thing about it.

The material quality is poor. The texture is not very soft and I washed it ONCE and put it in the dryer on low temperature and stuffing clumped up and was stiff like styrofoam! A handful of years ago, the kids comforters, pajamas, etc had much better quality material at Target. I can’t even return this comforter for a refund.

Something changed about the Pillowfort comforters. They used to be soft. NOW they are terrible. Super itchy. Even touching with your hands, it’s obvious. They really need to take these off the shelves. Several years ago, my daughter got one and we loved those. I won’t buy another one, though. Quality has drastically changed.

As soon as I got this comforter I washed it. I noticed there were fuzzies all over it and thought maybe once I dry it, it’ll be better. NOPE! The fuzzies never end, they don’t come off easily. It was made poorly! Do not recommend. If my target wasn’t 1+ hour away, I would return instantly!
