Q: There are no instructions on how to put the pepper INTO the grinder. How do you load it??

A: Hello Nancy - To load the grinder, unscrew the top silver knob (which can also be used to adjust how coarse or fine the grain comes out- tighter produces a finer grain, looser produces a coarser grain). Then carefully put the top knob aside and lift off the top wood piece. This will reveal the inside of the grinder (with the grinding shaft). Simply pour your pepper into the body and re-assemble. Be careful not to overfill!. Happy shopping!

A: Hello moniqua - Thanks for asking! The tighter you screw the top knob the finer the grain will be. You should be able to play with different levels of coarse/fine depending on how tight you twist the screw. Just be careful that you don’t fully unscrew the knob off the top! Enjoy. - Matt

Very appeasing to the eye and matched nicely to the magnolia brand set. Easy to add salt and pepper to the inside but did not hold as much as I would have liked. Also, the salt and pepper would keep spilling out from the bottom all the time and that is with using the largest size salt and pepper size too. Did not work for us.
