    Works well. Very safe--with supervision. My son loves it ! Needed to call Crayola to find out that instructions should tell users to make sure 'melt tray' snaps in with 2 audible clicks. That will allow the tray to be in full contact with the heating element. I would give it 5 stars for a rating.

    I tried other brands of crayons, but Crayola is the only brand that helps to make the beautiful pictures I have hanging all over my house made by my three grandchildren, ages 4, 6 and 8. Instead of electronics, they run to the Crayola crayons in my house and become creative, on their own...using their imaginations! They love the tower this makes, it encourages them to keep them neat so no crayons on the floor for the dogs to eat. Outstanding!
