So after reading all the review and looking at many many youtube clips on the product you want to buy. At the in of the day the decision is still going to be your own. Well I made a decision to go ahead and purchase this Sonia Kashuk Blending Spong from Targets because the price was good. I thought well if I get it, and I don't like at least I did not spend that much money. Any way when I did receive my spong and I use it with some foundation make-up. My make-up on my face came out amazing. I love this blenging spong and I enjoy useing it, and I will buy again and again from Target. It really does make my face look flawless and my friend. I wish I knew about it 3 years ago for other special occasions such as wedding and school dances. The price is better than a beauty blender but not the quality of the material. I can't believe this huge, wonderful brush is so inexpensive. You'd pay big bucks for a brush like this at MAC or Sephora. It's super soft, and the handle and brush head is really large, more like a kabuki brush than a bronzer blush. I love this for my Bareminerals Matte foundation, it buffs in powder really well. It's also good for buffing out blush if you went too heavy handed. I haven't tried it for liquid makeup, but considering how dense the brush is and how long it takes to dry, I'd avoid applying directly with this unless you want to constantly wash it. I'd probably apply liquid or cream makeup with another foundation brush and then use this one to buff it in lightly. see less

Respectfully, directions are on the back of the spray bottle. I love many aspects of this brush cleanser and I am a licensed aesthetician and makeup artist, so hopefully my words have weight. I use a wide range of makeup brands for my applications such as Too Faced, Cargo, Lorac, tarte, Makeup Forever, bareMinerals, Stila, and MAC. With that being said, I clean many of my brushes numerous times, especially my liquid foundation brushes after every use so I get a flawless application each time. This cleanser does the trick! It has a pleasant smell, it does not ruin the brushes, it is simple to dispense, it removes makeup pigment particles on the bristles entirely, and the smell that is on the bristles after they are cleaned is also pleasant. This is an excellent deep clean brush cleanser. All in all, I love this brush cleanser and I even use it on my expensive makeup brushes if you want a great brush cleanser at an affordable price this is it! see less

For a starter or extra set of brushes, this is a great deal. The handles do have a tendancy to come loose or even detach. That being said, it has happened to my more expensive brushes, so take out the super glue and put it back together. Some may feel this is too much effort, but they are unlikely to detach soon again, and why repurchase if the brush works? Still a cheap deal for the usefulness of the brush. Synthetic bristles, so do not use any type of conditioning shampoo, it may leave a residue behind that will effect how it picks up product. Don't restrict yourself to the brush's description. A smal eye brush could be used for concealer, powder brush to buff makeup after application. All brushes can be used wet or dry where useful. So if you like cream makeup, like blush, eye shadow, etc., then this set will work well. see less

I bought this a few years ago and used it religiously until a few months ago I tried to branch out and try different eyelash curlers. Boy, that was a mistake! I had a Revlon one in my makeup bag but it really took a beating, collapsing within a matter of months. I pulled back out my Sonia Kashuk eyelash curler and couldn't be happier. It has lasted years in my makeup bag and never loses its shape. It does a wonderful job of curling lashes, as well. I just periodically sanitize it with rubbing alcohol and replace the pad. I guess you could say it's my "old reliable." see less

I bought this brush to use with my Physician's Formula mineral powder foundation. I was really surprised at the super-high quality of this brush, especially since it's such a reasonable price. It's incredibly soft and applies your powder evenly. I wash it once a week using baby shampoo and lay it flat to dry (if you stand it on its base, it will take days to dry, so make sure you lay it flat). I also love that it's retractable and compact so it easily fits in your handbag, but when you open it, it's also big enough to apply foundation to your face. I love it. see less

I don't love this brush. I barely like it. I find that Sonia Kashuk's limited edition brushes typically aren't stellar nor is the quality that great. Her other brushes are much better though. I've so far had a few hairs fall out. Hopefully it stays that way but I had very bad luck with my [...] which had major fallout and I eventually just threw it away. I do like the size of this kabuki brush head which is quite large. The design is cute. The bristles aren't that soft. The brush does the job and I'll continue to use it since I purchased it but I wouldn't recommend it. I would invest my money into one of her brushes from her regular lines. see less

I love Sonia Kashuk's brushes and despite having most of them already I tend to buy her limited edition ones regardless. I like the idea of this brushroped texture to prevent slipping, and a nice sized kabuki brush that's not too big (if that's what you're looking for). However the brush feels cheap after I received it in personit's light and the plastic-ey feeling is more prominent than the other brushes I have. It still functions well as a brush of course, but just doesn't have as much of a luxury feeling as her other limited edition brushes. see less

I used this brush this morning, and have a couple things to say. 1) The brush handle is really nice and allows you to get a good hold on the brush, it is also very light and good looking2) The application of liquid foundation with the brush is pretty good, I didn't get any streaking or uneven areas, and it covered pretty well, these pros could be from the foundation that I use though (Clinique's perfectly real) but the brush feels ultra soft and I didn't get any shedding of the bristles3) The only thing that I have to say I didn't really fall in love over was the proportion of the brush. The handle is big and thick and sturdy and the bristle part of the brush felt a little undersized, just out of proportion, it is good for smaller details, but not much. I wish that part of the brush was bigger. If you have a tiny face and tiny features, you might want to consider it though. see less

I was looking for a crease brush to replace a worn-out travel one I had been using and saw this in Target. I gave it a go because it was precisely the shape I was looking for and it's fantastic! The bristles are dense and soft, and it doesn't absorb the product the way natural hair would. I've washed it a few times and it hasn't shed once. It's fabulous! I don't have one complaint about it.
