    Enticing, smooth dark roast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first taste experience with Seattle's Best Coffee. The Post Alley is a dark, smoky, and intense French roast—100% Arabica, finely ground coffee. The aroma of this dark roast is enticing. I tend to add grounds to my K-Cup for brewing. What I will say is that I’ve learned with my machine, when using finely ground roast, I need to put fewer grounds in the K-Cup for proper brewing. I tend to lean toward French, Arabica dark roast coffees. I did catch some reviews where longtime customers noted a change in taste and quality with this coffee. I don’t have a prior comparison, but I found this to be a nice, smooth cup of coffee that was enjoyable to drink without any additives. It was not bitter to me at all. Whether you like a cold brew or a regular plain-Jane cup of coffee, this is a great-tasting dark roast. I received this product complimentary from Seattle's Best and Influenster in exchange for my honest review.

I love the resealable bag that keeps the coffee grounds fresh until your next brew. I make coffee in my single brew machine. Simply measure the coffee according to taste and enjoy.

I can finally find Post Alley at my local Krogers. Why, you folks changed something and I am sure to make a larger profit. You are messing with coffee lovers and are somehow listening to some really stupid advice. My opening statement is accurate because we are not going to buy that new blend. Somebody sold you some bad advice.

Tasted like commercial coffee and bitter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start this review by saying that I review coffee all over the USA at coffee shops and at home. When the coffee I started by opening the bag and smelling. It smelled very commercially and didn’t have the normal aroma of my speciality coffees. To give it a fair chance I made it the way I make my morning coffee every morning in my aero press. Normally I’d grind my own coffee but this one came pre ground. Once pressing my coffee I prepared it as an americano and it was bitter and tasted acidic. I then decided maybe it would be better as an iced latte so I made an almond milk iced latte and the flavor was almost worse. I know my standards for coffee may be higher than the normal Consumer but if I wasn’t gifted this coffee I would have been very upset I spend money on this coffee. I couldn’t finish either cup of coffee.

The Seattle’s Best Coffee Dark Roast Post Alley coffee was one of the best coffees I tried in a very long time. I brewed an espresso cup, it was not just strong the way I like it, it was extremely flavorful and smooth. I knew it would be a good coffee from the moment I opened the bag but I wasn’t expecting it to be the highlight of my day. Thank you for allowing me to try this coffee, I am hooked.

This ground coffee is tastes exactly how it’s described, smoky and intense. The texture of this Seattles Best coffee is smooth. It really gave me a boost of caffeinated energy the first day I drank some. If you love coffee you’ll love the strong coffee aroma this gives off while brewing. It comes in closeable packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love bold coffee, and the Post Alley Blend hits the mark perfectly. It’s rich, smoky, and intense without being harsh. The French roast flavor is deep and satisfying, and there’s a smoothness that makes every sip enjoyable. I usually brew it with a drip coffee maker using 1-2 tablespoons per 6 oz of water, and it turns out perfect every time. The aroma is incredible and really sets the mood for a great morning. For the quality and taste, it's a great value—definitely worth it for dark roast lovers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy cow. This is super strong. I prefer strong coffee. My husband only drinks strong black coffee. But this is to strong. We made it with out reusable K-cup. This coffee didn't work well with that. So we tried it with our regular coffee maker. It did the same thing. It left a black residue in the cup while I was drinking. Don't think I'm going to try this again.

TERRIBLE changed since Nestle bought Seattle's Best

The rich, deep bold flavor profile of Seattle's Best Post Alley that so many were loyal to for decades is GONE. Nestle has changed the roast & grind for the worse. There is no discernible aroma to invite you to a cup, the grind is more coarse/crystalline, the flavor is disgusting and unpalatable with only a gross blandness and a hint of bittery aftertaste. Typical corporate behavior of ruining a beloved once high quality product. I will never buy this again unless the original grind, roadt, and flavor returns. Oh and by the way they didn't jyst change the packaging THEY CHANGED THE PORTION FROM 12 OUNCES TO 10 OUNCES SO NOT ONLY DO YOU GET AN INFERIOR PRODUCT, THEY ARE PRICE GOUGING FOR LESS OF IT. TERRIBLE!
