But peppermint taste of this lip balm gave my lips a burning sensation that was not at all enjoyable. Not to mention that I usually use lip balm in winter time to keep my lips moisturised but the peppermint made them feel ice cold out in the cold weather. My lip balm also was initially really hard which made it hard to apply. It eventually softened, perhaps from the warmer temperature but still wasn’t as soft and moisturising as I would have preferred. While my lips felt soft after applying the lip balm, my overall experience wasn’t positive. I probably won’t purchase this product in the future as I have used better lip balms before. m

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not even sure where to start with this lip balm, I am notorious for having a collection of lip balm and loosing them within days, however this little champion has been with me everyday, and I can honestly say I will not be letting it out of my sight. My lips were constantly dry and needed love before trying this, now they feel so hydrated and smooth, and this was noticeable in just a couple of days since I started using. And I LOVE that this is natural beeswax and vitamin E, compared to some that have a list of ingredients that’s not only too long but full of words I cannot pronounce. This beauty will forever have a place in my handbag and I will be getting more to keep at work and at home, I may even branch out and try some of the other flavours. Seriously do yourself a favour, go to the shop now and get some!!

It feels like it really improves my dry lips and actually makes a difference. It stays on the lips longer than some other balms which really helps when you have very dry lips. It is smooth, with a non greasy feel and tingles with each application, assuming the peppermint causes tingling. Personally I liked the tingling feeling. Overall, I like the product and would recommend it for a moisturizing every day lip balm.

For this product test I opted for the all natural lip balm, it glides on effortlessly over the lips, feels soft and smooth and kept my lips hydrated. I recommend this product, and often use it for my five year old when those windy park days have dried her lips out too.

I’m not sure if I have an allergy to the peppermint oil in it but it made my lips feel too minty for too long. I think I’d still try a product that didn’t include that ingredient purely for the hydration.
