DUO Adhesive Lash Adhesive - 0.25oz

Formula has changed to a less-tacky and runny lash glue that does not stick. I use the black glue, but it’s much darker than before and was smearing everywhere. I’ve used this glue for 15+ years. It’s not the same! Horrible quality. 5 stars for easy to remove cause my lashes basically fall right off.

I have been using this brand and color eyelash glue for 15 yrs and formula changed. Not as tacky and with trying to make it work it makes your falsies dirty/gray at the rim from trying adhere lash and to my eyes. Such a disappointment

This new formula is horrible. It ruins the application of the lash band.

I have been using the dark tone one for AGES. The dark tone one used to be great. Now they changed the dark tone to black and it doesnt stick the same anymore. I now have to look for other ones. Disappointing. Me, my friends and family wont be purchasing these anymore. Sad.

I have been a loyal user of the Duo Lash Glue Black Adhesive (pink box) for over 10 years. The last two bottles I purchased were noticeably different, the adhesive now comes out black instead of the usual gray. I was unaware the formula had been changed, as there was no indication or notification on the packaging. Since using the new version, I’ve experienced burning upon removal, flaking on my eyelids, and significant puffiness and swollen lids where the glue was, something that has never happened in all my years of using this product. This is both upsetting and concerning, especially given the long-term trust I’ve had in your brand. What exactly changed in the formula? Has the white adhesive also been altered? And what alternative do you recommend for those of us now experiencing these reactions? It’s alarming that such a change was made without alerting customers, especially when I’ve now seen many others experiencing similar issues…some of which have gone viral on TikTok. Please take this feedback seriously and consider restoring the original formula.

Zero stars! Formula changed and I hate the new one. I have been using DUO glue for the past 23 years and loved the clear then found the dark one and loved it even more until now. To my horrible surprise they changed the formula it’s sticky and not in a good one and it stinks so bad. It leaves a residue that is so hard to get off. Now I’m on the hunt for a new glue brand.

I bought this because I was getting low. I just opened this yesterday to use and immediately I noticed the color was different. I thought oh man, they changed the formula!! I used it anyways and my eyes would not stop tearing. I had to remove my lashes and my lids are puffy and irritated. I'm so bummed I've been using duo dark lash glue for at least 10 years it was my go to. Now I have to find another glue to use.

I wish I could rate it higher than this but for the reviews I expected more. It’s kinda messy like it was oozing out of the container when I put it down after using it and keep in mind I would always wipe it after I used it.

Purchased the dark tone and it is completely different. I have used this product for over 20 yrs and it is now a black tone. Which I did not mind when I opened it but then using it was horrible. It was so messy and sticky. Thin consistency, my lashes would not even stick. I thought they had dried and then when I checked, my lash just fell off! Luckily I had a small amount left in my old tube. This product is very bad. It's not worth purchasing. Look on Amazon for the original dark tone product. Very disappointing Duo....😕

Great product, I love how it stays whole day and glue is easy to rub off when submerge in water

They removed the formaldehyde which is GREAT! Check your box when you get it and read the ingredients list. Formaldehyde used to be the last ingredient, now it’s gone. But I agree with another reviewer that the glue sticks to your natural lashes when you take them off as there is residual and you had to use makeup remover to get it off. Overall it still works but wish there was a way the glue would just pull off with the lashes like it used to so you don’t have to add another step in your nighttime routine making sure all the glue has been removed.

I’ve been using this for over 10 years and I’m so disappointed with the new formula and color. The original gray was so much better—natural and perfect. Why change something that wasn’t broken? Time to start searching for a new lash glue :(

change the formula back!!

I got an allergy reaction on my eyelid even though I've used this product for 15 years. The glue is also very sensitive to humidity so it will start to crumble and the lashes start to come undone.

I’m not sure when the formula changed but every time I use it after removing eyelashes, the lash line on my eyelids is puffy/swollen. Not good at all. AVOID

New formula. It’s black, which I like better than the previous gray, but that’s the only improvement. The new formula is messy and so hard to work with. You can tell if it’s the new formula because it will say Made in Korea instead of the previous Made in the USA.

Did their formula change? It’s not the same that’s why it’s a 1 star. Please change it back to the old formula!!

I have decent natural lashes, but sometimes like to add more for a more dramatic make up look. Im very gently with the removal of lashes, they never stick to my natural lashes or pull them out when taking them off. But every single time i use this glue, it causes my lashes to fall out. It wont be right after i remove them, its a few days after, making me think theres an ingredient in this glue that causes them to fall out. Ive never had this issue before with false lashes/glue. It also has a very strange fishy smell.

I really love this glue! It holds my eyelashes down, I was outside when it was SUPER windy & my eyelashes stayed in place. Does have a fishy smell doe, but its okay.
