Fun game, only downside is that it’s up to 4 people. We already bought this game for other family members. Everyone loves it. Even our 6 year old plays.

We've played it at least 4 times this week! Quick to play (30-45 minutes), but requires a strategic plan. Will be a regular in our rotation of games - particularly for when we have a limited amount of time to play.

Bummed the tokens were not as advertised. I love this game and already have all versions. I saw in the picture the tokens looked shiny, so I bought this. It came in the new box but the tokens are not shiny. Disappointed. Maybe the picture should be changed to reflect the real product. I felt it was misleading. Still love the game. Will give to my kids or something.

It’s a favorite game in our household. However, I bought new sets to replace ours and as gifts to family. 2/3 new sets were of very poor quality, cards color were terrible, and the chips were light weight with a white powdery film that had to be wiped off. I was embarrassed after realizing the drop in quality. I checked with the people we gave them to. Fortunately, one family received the older set that was of top notch quality. I think the company had cut cost saving corners. I’ve included pictures to show the older version’s chip weight of 13 grams compared to the new version 5 grams. I couldn’t show the difference in cards because the older better quality set was thrown out because they were so worn. It’s still a favorite game.

I first played this game at a church retreat and loved it. It's fun and perfect for groups

I bought this game because we had the grandkids over for the weekend and my son lent us his game. After playing it with the grandkids my husband wanted one for our house. Excellent game, makes you plan ahead. Lots of fun. I already recommended this game to a couple of coworkers that have children ages 8 to 12.

My husband and I learned this game and liked it so when we saw it, we picked it up. Turns out, my kids all love it too! My 8 year old regularly wins. The 6 and 4 year olds got the concept and love playing as well. Great game. We do a lot of practice of concepts through games so this is a great game for gameschooling, unschooling or just homeschooling. I don't think the price is worth $40. Buy it online and save $10. But even at $30 it's a little overpriced.

Super fun and easy to learn! I love the strategy and variation opportunity. I had friends try who weren't savvy with board games, and they thoroughly enjoyed playing! I think there's just a discrepancy in the rule book depending on number of people, but otherwise, good rules!

I had a game night to try out Splendor. I had heard so much about it because it had won a lot of awards for best board game a couple of years back. It was finally my turn to test it out. First of all, the quality of the cards, tokens and materials were all great. The rule book explained everything in detail but I am a big fan of going to YouTube to watch a quick How To video. We were four and played for about 45 minutes. The second and third game were faster since we grasped the concept. This is a strategy and skill game. One wrong move by someone else and it can ruin your entire strategy. We had a blast and we would highly recommend it.

Splendor is a fantastic game not just for adults, but also for kids! Everyone battling for the nobles to be the best was so much fun. The ability to reserve cards that someone else wants made the game really tactical and made you feel so sneaky. The ability to play multiple games in a reasonable amount of time made it to where the kids don't get bored easily and look forward to not only their turn but also paying attention to how others playing effects their turn. Average game lasts around 20 minutes and setup is less than 5 minutes. It takes on average one game to understand the game. We are looking forward to getting the expansions to the game to see what changes. recommended for ages 10+ for 2- 4 players. Our son was able to grasp it and play at 9

We absolutely love this game. It starts with the quality of what's in the box. The cards are heavy duty, and the chips are hefty. Despite the simplicity of the pieces and structure of the game, it NEVER gets old. The game is always different and your strategy is always changing. We even take this game on vacation. Its even great as a 2 player game. I would suggest this game to anybody.

This game was amazing to play and learn about. The kids asked about the different characters as well as all the other things that they wanted to know. It was super fun to play and kept everyone entertained all night.

Had a fun time with game time playing Splendor. Was a little tricky to get the hang of it at first. But once we got playing it was a lot easier. Strategy is tough to develop. But although gameplay seems daunting, it becomes a lot more doable once you get going. Watching online video tutorial of how to play made a huge difference over reading the directions. Was enjoyed by kids and adults alike!

Don’t worry if this sounds complicated— it’s not! It’s actually really easy and really fun to play! Even teenagers love it!

We had a blast with this one! It was quick and easy to learn. And it was a lot of fun. Plotting against each other. Trying to make our goals and prevent the other people from making theirs. It was great!
