I was surprised at how easy it went together. Very quiet, makes no noise even when it is on high. Nice design with the controls. Not the usual little buttons across the base, but a large silver band around the bottom that is easy to slide back and forward to the speeds. Works for me because when my large cats walk over it they can not turn it on. The cats have enough weight they could touch the old one with a paw and turn it on. Got to be a game with them and not safe. I had to unplug the old fans every time I left. The front grill snaps off easy enough for cleaning the blades. A good value for the price. see less
