Removes all bad taste from water. Makes coffee and coffee machine taste and run great! Wish it lasted longer. We have really bad water with a lot of contaminants. So it doesn't last as long as it would with someone with lower contaminant water. This is the best price on the web. see less

I had the smaller pitcher and dropped it and broke it. When I tested my water the first few times it came out 003 then i dumped the water out and then refilled it and it came out 000. I save so much more money by not buying bottled water. And some bottled water is higher reading than my tap water. see less

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars on quality is because we had to take back the first one before we ever got to use it. The lid broke as soon as I took it out of the box and I BARELY touched it. I almost didn't go with the Zero Water again when I returned the defective one, but I'm glad I did. We drink a lot of water and can definitely tell a difference in the taste between Zero Water and the way our water tasted out of our old Pur filter...it's so much better. When our two-year-old took his first sip of the water from Zero Water, he got a BIG smile on his face and yelled "yummy water!!", and he had never been a big fan of plain ol' water. So we will for sure be sticking with Zero Water. Oh and no issues at all with this lid. see less

Our water tastes wonderful now with our new water filter. I fill it up before going to bed and it is ready for the next day. I keep it on the kitchen counter so my husband and three kids can help themselves to their own water. I like the dispenser - doesn't drip after the kids get their water. I really appreciate the water tester, so you know when to change the filter. Very economical. Very happy with our purchase. I did a lot of research before buying this. see less

We recently cracked our water pitcher and were fans of Zero water - the new pitcher is HUGE and doesn't need to be filled up as often. We've been using the Zero water filters etc for over two years now and compared to others we have used in the past this one is our favorite. Others have also commented on how good our water is -- kind of odd but I think its due to the filter system. A side note if you don't like the single price filters - buy the multipacks online you can save some more there. see less

We have a filtration system in our fridge, but after I tested that water it wasn't that much better than our water right out of the tap. I like that the ZeroWater pitcher can dispense water without taking it out of the fridge. With one of our previous filtration pitchers we had a lot of spillage when the kids poured their own water. I like that I can get replacement filters at any big box store or order them off the internet, whichever is better for me at the time. Also, being able to put the pitcher in the dishwasher is a big deal. Stuff in my fridge get mysteriously nasty over time, so I'm glad I can clean it easily. I have received a ZeroWater pitcher and filters to facilitate my review. However, these are my honest thoughts. see less

First I want to say this product does exactly as advertised. The water is as good as distilled water and can even use it to soften my fresh water aquarium or top it off. I've actually ran the filtered water through my steam distiller to see what was left over and the stainless steal boiler was spotless after usage, proving to me the water is clean and mineral free. After using regular tap water (mine is 45 ppm), the boiler always has brown crud and minerals left over. These filters are awesome!All the reviewers that indicate short filter life neglect to tell you what their total ppm is of the water they are filtering. My water starts out from the tap at 45 ppm and I get nearly a years usuage from my filters. I not only use the water for drinking but for my aquarium and watering plants as well. How could I possibly complain about cost with performance like that? Sure beats lugging heavy 5 gallon bottles around or using my distiller; and look at the money I've saved just in wasted time and gas going to the store. I also never have to descale my coffee maker anymore, saving me more time and money!Everyone that complains about short filter life should also let everyone know what the total ppm is of the water they are filtering to start with. This would really be usefull information for prospective buyers of this product. [...] see less

This is the best water filter you can buy currently. [...] First, the filter isn't even 'recommended' to be changed until 6 parts per million. Second, rate of replacement varies amongst users- the average is 22 gallons according to the manual I have; but as mentioned in the manual any number of variables can influence that 'ballpark' figure: amount of contamination in the water being filtered is the prime influence. Also, depending on how much you drink (and how many in your household), whether you use the water for cooking also or simply drinking, etc., those factors are all quite obviously going to influence the rate of replacement. Lastly and MOST IMPORTANTLY,[...] I tested my bottled water, [...],' and it read 150 ppm. Municipal supply without filtration came in at approximately 170 ppm. These single digit readings are beyond amazing! And the tester is very sensitive, so if there happens to be some backflush in the water you're testing [...]or if the glass is not clean, etc., any number of factors can influence readings this incredibly low on a tester that is sensitive, and that too is a huge plus. I am the most picky water afficionado I know and I don't care if I feel like "The Water Boy" filling the pitcher multiple times a day (I drink a lot of water and cook with it as well); I am a fan!!!!!!!! see less

In times like now, every penny is important. BUT, if you don't have to spend that penny as often as you would if you had purchased another filter cartridge, you have actually saved money! I had owned the other leading water filter systems and was so disappointed that I threw them into the trash. Zero filtered water tastes better, is safer to drink, and doesn't leave the rings in your glasses. It makes the coffee and tea better, as well as steamed vegetables, poached eggs and fish taste incredible, as the chemicals in the water are gone. Why buy expensive coffee if you are going to use water that tastes terrible? These filters over their competitors, [...] just don't measure up!!!! see less

When I heard that Zero Water states that they can get most of the dissolved solids out of my water I was all for giving them a try. One really neat thing about Zero Water is that right on top of the pitcher is a water meter. It tests your water and lets you know if your pitcher is still able to filter out all the bad stuff. It should read 000. Zero Water did test 000 so it was neat to see a company actually do what it claims to do. A couple other features I like about the Zero Water pitcher is that it is ergonomic and that it has a pour spout on the bottom so if your kids don't want to pull the pitcher out of the fridge they can just push the little button and get their water. The more convenient something is the more apt you are to use it so this is a great feature. Even though it holds 10 cups of water it is still fairly narrow and fits nicely into the fridge. I have received a ZeroWater pitcher and filters to facilitate my review. see less

What I love most about the ZeroWater pitcher is that it has a dispenser spout on the bottom so I don't have to lift up the heavy pitcher. First time I've seen that idea in a water filtration systems. The pitcher would take up quite some space in our refrigerator, but since I grew up with room-temperature water, I wouldn't store it in there anyway. It's pretty powerful to see the number of regular tap water - you'll never want to drink anything but ZeroWater from then on. I have received a ZeroWater pitcher and filters to facilitate my review. The pitcher comes with detailed instructions on testing your water straight from the tap with the included tester, a URL to check your average local levels of Total Dissolved Solids in the water and the pitcher and filter. First I checked my local levels on the website, which were 250, ew, right?, then I checked my tap water which was 168. Next I checked my reverse osmosis which was 008. I followed the directions, and carefully poured the water through the filter. This took a few minutes to filter and when it was done, I tested it. Guess what it was... 000. I tasted it and it tasted like the most delicious pure water ever. Better than most of the bottled water out there, even. I was really impressed. see less

I HAVE A COOLER AND WOULD LUG THE 3 AND 5 GALLON JUGS FOR REFILLS ALL 4 SEASONS AND HAD SUCH A FEAR IN THE SNOW & UP STAIRS. I FOUND THE COOLER MOUNT AND GOT IT AT ONCE. WHAT I DID, WRONG OR RIGHT IS I RAN TAP WATER OVER THE FILTER AND WHEN IT WAS HEAVY, I INSTALLED IT. I DRINK MIN. OF 64 OZ A DAY AND HAVE JUST NOW NEEDED TO REPLACE MY FILTERS. PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT COST, BUT SODA, BEER AND OTHER BEVERAGES ARE JUST AS HIGH WITH AGAIN THE DISPOSAL PROBLEM. THIS FILTER WAS JUST WHAT THIS OLD LADY NEEDED. NO MORE LUGGING AND BACK BRAKING TO FILL THE COOLER WITH THE BIG JUGS. I THINK WHEN THE PUBLIC CATCHES ON AND MORE PLACES CARRY THEM, THE DEMAND WILL COME UP AND WE WILL SEE A PRICE REFLECTION AS WELL. THEY HAVE TO START SOMEPLACE IN THEIR BUSINESS.
