Seriously, what can the KitchenAid mixer not do? I'm pretty sure that given enough time to understand the manual better, it would take my cake batter, dump it into a baking dish and put it in the oven to bake at 400F for 20 minutes. Okay, so that's a bit of an exaggeration. But considering that in one afternoon we were able to make pizza dough, bake a cake and ice it all inside a tiny counterspace area, it must work miracles. Right now, we can't right to start acquiring the attachments and giving them a run for their money. see less

My parents bought this mixer for me for my wedding and I just love it. The color is just like it is online--totally cheesy and retro--and I love it! It is really easy to use, easy to clean, powerful, strong and durable. Unfortunately I don't have room for it on my counter, and it's a little annoying to haul in and out of the cabinet, but if you can leave it on your counter, it's an amazing tool to use often. I haven't tried the bread arm yet, but I'm glad it has a splash guard, even if it is plastic. Works fine for me! see less

I bought this one because I wanted to try the new color. I already have a black one which is over a decade old.... and works a bit better. Although the mixer works ok, it is evident the newer mixers are of a less quality--plastic gears, lighter bowl etc. The splash guard is clumsy and does not stay on. It minimizes, but does not totally stop splashing. I still need to use a spatula and press down batter on the sides and be sure that the very bottom is being mixed in since the paddle does not touch the bottom...this is a pain because you need to turn off the mixer and remove the guard. I tried the pasta maker and it really seemed to strain the motor. The Kitchen Aid is still great for heavy cookie/bread doughs and batters though because of the wattage. Overall...a B-...depends on what you bake and how much you bake. see less

The only drawback is that the box it is shipped in is the manufacturer "KitchenAide Mixer" box...no over wrapping. Sooo, for my UPS guy who just leaves stuff on the doorstep, this [..]. I have owned this KA for 10 years now. I wanted to give it a 4 for many reasons, but I have to add this word of frustration that I have come back to over and over again. This mixer does not do double batches well at all!! We have a large family, and though a single batch of bread, cookies, biscuits, etc works like a charm, anytime I double, I have flour and liquid seeping out the sides - EVEN with the shield. Tonight I made buttermilk biscuits for a large group, and the motor nearly burned out and dough was leaping up over the shield and out the top. Along with the flour that had already pummeled itself out and onto my flour and countertop in globs, the project was a complete mess to clean up. Dough shield. Terrible. I cannot add ingredients without hitting the the top of the mixer while the shield is on. I have to stop the machine, lift the head (which also hits the shield depending the position of the beater), there is just no room in this mixer for me. I AM the lone dissenter here, but I will give this piece of advice. If you need to bake in large quantities, this mixer will not do for you. And as far as the shield. It's more trouble than it's worth. Sorry for bursting bubbles, wish I liked it better............. see less

I always say the right tool is worth its price. When I first got married I would pick up a used mixer every few months for 5-20 dollars at the thrift store. After replacing it several times I finally broke down and bought what I really wanted, this KitchenAid Classic stand mixer. Amazingly, I paid almost the same price 23 years ago, 225 dollars. It has performed flawlessly for more than 2 decades and shows every indication of decades of use ahead. Quality shows. It is a good mixer. see less

I love to make smoothies! All the blenders I've had in the past would not chop the ice into a smoothie, unless I stopped the blender and stirred it by hand, then they still didn't work well. This blender is fantastic. I press "liquefy" and within seconds I have a fresh fruit smoothie. It cleans up easily and looks great on the counter. I highly recommend. see less

I have had my convection oven for a year with no problems. It sits on a stand instead of a microwave because it is big. This is why I like it. I can put a 12" frozen pizza in it and cook with no preheating. I use it every day during the summer to bake so I don't have to use the regular oven to save on air conditioning. It is so convenient and safe, it shuts off by itself with the timer. My daughter wants one so her kids can come home from school and fix a snack. It's great for things you want to cook or reheat and have crispy as opposed to microwave soggy. see less

I have had this oven for about 2 weeks now after problems with several other brands that were much cheaper. We are living in a long stay hotel for work, and we don't have an oven, so this is our go-to appliance. So far, it has baked everything perfectly. It does heat up on the outside quite a bit and you have to be careful not to burn yourself, but I have found this to be true of all counter-top ovens. The size is great, but like one reviewer noted, it WILL NOT hold a 9x13 pan. It does come with one baking tray and I just kept the tray from our other oven that stopped working, as I couldn't find one small enough in the store. It will hold round cake pans comfortably though. All in all, I wish I would have spent more and just bought this one to start with - you get what you pay for. I also picked it up on sale in-store, which helped. see less

I am very pleased with this toaster/convection oven. I use it every single day instead of a microwave for heating all our leftovers and lunches. I also use it for baking side dishes at dinnertime. I have a family of five with allergies and spend a lot of time in the kitchen, using this appliance constantly. It is larger and quicker than our previous toaster oven, which did not have convection heating. Yet, it is not too large to fit and sit nicely on the counter. It does take a bit longer (4 or 5 min. longer) than a trational toaster to actually toast our frozen gluten free bread to a crispy brown, but the bread was evenly heated and the bread didn't warp (as it does in our normal toaster). It is simple to clean, and I'm grateful for it's beauty and hard work. I've only had it for a few months, so I'm hoping the realiability will be as wonderful as everything else about it! see less

What a disappointment from KitchenAid! This coffee maker leaks either water or hot brewed coffee almost every time we use it. For some reason the brewed coffee doesn't flow into the pot fast enough, so it backs up in the filter, getting more grounds into the coffee and overflowing. We have had it for two weeks but are returning it to Target this weekend because we cannot find a way to prevent the leaks. I would give this coffee maker "0" stars if possible, because it is just horrible. The cheapie Mr. Coffee machine I had in college was FAR superior to this over-priced piece of junk! see less

Love it, use it multiple times a week. Only warning I have is when you unbox it, be careful. The food processor blade for ours got loose and it is very sharp. For using it, make sure you follow the directions. The device has a lot of safety measures and will not turn on unless they are all accounted for. see less

I have mostly positive things to say about this blender. I like that it is functional yet stylish. It is physically more attractive than any other blender out there. I like that it comes in a variety of colors. I have the red, but am thinking of picking up the blue for when I switch my decor. Besides being appealing, the blender functions better than my pre-existing blenders. I blended a smoothie in literally 3 seconds. It is fast, and does the job superbly. I like the material that it is made out of. It is not glass, so if I were to drop it I do not think it would break, although that has not happened--yet. My only complaint would be that it is not the easiest to clean. I do not have a dishwasher, so I have to clean it by hand. It is not easy to clean around the blades, which do seperate from the rest of the fillable part. see less

This is my 2nd 14-cup KichenAid Coffee Maker. I have the Empire Red one at home which I purchased less than a year ago, and I LOVE IT. I'm the coffee organizer at work, and recently purchased the new Espresso color model that is slightly different where the coffee grounds go. Which is where the defect is. The part where the chrome portion snaps closed needs to be revamped. With the Empire Red one, you slide the coffee filter into the area above the caraf, then snap the chrome lid shut. The new Espresso one has the filter on the chrome lid, then you close it all together. It closes too loosely, and it pops open when it's brewing. If this defect is in all of the new models, I will get the same one as I have at home. see less

It really does do a much better job than any other toaster I have ever had. It is the first toaster I have ever had that toasts both sides of a piece of bread exactly the same. How it handles Bagels and English Muffins is another outstanding feature. I had a toaster that had a Bagel setting. When you picked that function only one side of the toasting slot heats up so you can toast the inside face. This toaster does the same thing thing except it operates the none toasted side at 50 percent power so the Bagel warms through. It makes a difference. The function I like the most is the warming function. If you have missed timed your toast. This function warms it to pipping hot again without toasting it anymore. The toaster is supposed to have a "Special Toaster Function". That over rides settings for one event and then returns the functions after use. As far as I can tell it does not exsist. This is not a reason not to by the toaster. see less

I just received my toaster this afternoon and had to use it right away. I only had English Muffins on hand and toasted it. The outside was nice and crispy. The inside was nicely hot and soft. I don't think I've ever enjoyed an English Muffin this much! I've heard that this toaster takes longer and I really have nothing to compare it to since what we were using before was a toaster oven and that takes long too. The countdown timer is perfect because this way I know exactly when my toast will be done. It looks beautiful on my countertop. I did notice a smell when I was toasting but I'm sure it's because it was literally just taken out of the box, plugged in and used. I read about a bell before but didn't hear anything although I did the radio on in the kitchen at that time so I can't say if it's as loud as some say. My mom was with me when I received it and I think I know what she's getting for Christmas since she liked it that much. This toaster is totally worth the price. see less

Received quickly, I don't know why it smells like plastic when brewing coffee??? I suggest put it in a cleaning mode a couple times as well brew 4 Reg brews total with just water before brewing coffee. I only did it one cleaning and one brew and it tasted like plastic still yuck!!!, but after cleaning it again with a few brews of water the taste was gone. It still has a hint order smell of plastic smell when brewing but thank goodness it doesn't taste like it any more. I just got it so i do not know if in time the smell of plastic will leave? Over all i'm pleased with it but think it could of been made a little better with it being a KitchenAid payed [$] so think they should of done better. I do like the look of it... see less

I received this model of coffee pot as a Christmas present and I have been so horribly disappointed. Kitchenaid used to be my go-to brand for kitchen appliances, but after this coffee pot I refuse to ever buy any of their products again. It stopped working after 5 days and since it was a holiday weekend, Kitchenaid's customer service offices were closed. Luckily, Target was kind enough to allow me to exchange my coffee pot in the store for another one, even though I had thrown away the box. The replacement pot was missing components in the box and Kitchenaid sent the wrong part. I guess it didn't really matter, since this second coffee pot stopped working this morning after about a week. Now I have to wait 7-10 days for Kitchenaid to send me a replacement and here I am with no coffee pot. see less

Bought this on sale to replace the ninja we weren't satisfied with. You can feel the quality difference right out of the box as it is twice as heavy. It was also on sale [..] which was nice. While naturally it is a more traditional blender and a little more limited in use, it is far more consistent. We did notice the angle of the blades was different from all of the other blenders which may help in that regard. So far it has handled everything we have thrown at it with ease. Great multipurpose oven! Makes great toast as long as it's preheated for 5 minutes, per the instructions. Looks good on the counter. Door gets hot so care is needed when in use. Somewhat of a learning curve to use the knobs and rack positions. With a little practice everything has turned out perfectly.Longevity remains to be seen since I've had this just a few months. Love the nonestick interior and the crumb tay. Would definately purchase again and to give as a gift. see less

I went out to find a toaster oven and came back with a countop oven! The nonstick interior was the deciding point between this one and another of the same size for slightly less money. Looks good on the counter. Minimal learning curve to use the dials, which I prefer over a touch pad. Yes, toast takes a little longer but it's done to perfection as long as you follow the directions. I tried various other ways and found reheating the oven really does produce the best results. Not a bad tradeoff. It's nice to roast a small amount of root veggies, toast a bagel and bake tofu without using the big oven. Be cautious of the hot door and outer walls. I usually use an oven glove - the "ove glove". After about a month of almost daily use I'm very happy with this purchase. Hope it has the longevity of my [$]toaster oven..... see less
