I purchased the V26 Violet. Rinsed hair for over 40 mins in shower before ran clear. Left dye on for 32 mins. My hair didn't get any violet at all. It's Black. Extremely disappointed and will be asking for a refund.

I love this range and I’ve been using this one recently as I wanted to warm it up a little and it’s working really well, it will only tone the greys as it’s a semi permanent but that adds to a more natural look. I find that the warmer tones lasts longer that the previous colours that I used by a couple of weeks more which means I can get away with a month before my greys start peeping through and the toned grey has faded. My only issue is that it’s so hard to get hold of and therefore has made it so much more expensive. Is this particular colour becoming discontinued?

You should just throw the money in the trash along with an hour of your time. This dye didn't last one wash! I have grays so I even left it on longer than recommended. Straight away, I could see that the coverage was terrible but I had hoped it would mask the grays until I could figure out if I was growing out my old color for a change. The very first wash and I'm practically back to pure white roots. I realize it's a semi permanent product, but come on now.....

Left my hair feeling nice and this is the best smelling hair color I've ever used, by far, but the color sunflower, medium blonde 08, left my hair light brown. I have fine hair so maybe that's why. I feel like I'm in witness protection with this color brown hair. I have blue eyes and pinky skin so it's really not right. I'm hoping it lightens some but I'll probably have to dye it lighter. Because it smells good and left my hair feeling good, I might just try the same brand but use 9.0. That's way lighter than I want but who know what color it'll be for me. Previously I've mostly used L'Oréal preference. It reeks but I get normal color results.

9 - light blonde. My go to colour. I have fine hair and have to be careful when lightening. This was gentle enough but gave me a great even lift. Awesome tone too. Saves me sooo much time and money. 10/10!!

I have been using this product for many years at the advice of my beautician. It is easy to do yourself, has no strong odor, and leaves my hair soft. I love that it covers my gray, and washes out gradually without leaving those telltale roots as my hair grows. I change my color slightly with the seasons, darker in winter and lighter in summer. The golden formulas give me the highlights I want too. Please don’t change a thing Clairol!

A month ago I purchased and used Dark Burgundy. Despite copious rinsing and then using the conditioner, the dye still leached from my hair when I got sweaty. After a couple of washes this stopped. My hair is still quite colourful but I am developing natural roots and the greys are beginning to show in the dyed hair. All in all I'm pleased with the colour but expected it to wash away enough to not develop roots. Still love it and got lots of compliments.

This product was not true to the colour.I am brunette with some greys and it turned the greys an orange colour and now I will either have to apply another one or go to a professional hairdresser to fix it. it your products have an orange tint you need to specify as this affects the grey. It looks awful.

I have used this product and color (6G Light Golden Brown) for years. Over this time there have various changes made to the formula for the color and the conditioner, some okay some not so much, but never have I been more unhappy than by the latest change to the conditioner. (dark green print to light green) It leaves a heavy coating that really weighs my hair down, doesn't rinse out, barely comes off with two or three shampoos, and it feels so oily that I need to wash my hair more often. I no longer use it between coloring. Please change it back. I really don't want to go looking for another brand but I can't take this version. P.S. If you have any left over tubes of the dark green conditioner please send me 4 or 5 so I can replace the light green ones I have already purchased.

We would like to let you know that the Natural Instincts formula or components have not been changed in a few years since the switch to the cream formula. We did however update the packaging/components artwork and style, back in late 2024. First time user for this particular Clairol product. I was looking for something to even out the contrast between my dark blonde regrowth and my bleached level 10 ends as I am trying to just grow my hair out for awhile; avoiding harsh chemicals. I bought the Natural Instincts 8 medium blonde and am really happy with the results. Didn’t have to worry about any lift of the roots, it just deposited a lovely medium blonde and my roots blended in nicely. Thank you Clairol!

I went from blonde to Black Brown without having to fill in my hair beforehand and it was perfect! It faded naturally, but not to the point that where I was stuck with a gross colour. This is now my go to colour 😊 thank you!
