so i went and bought a small bottle just to see if i would like it and wow is all i can say. I put this on my bangs and went for a walk and its really windy where I live [...],and usually after a windy walk I have to redo my bangs cause there going sideways, but not this time, it is a miracle and I don't think the smell is that bad, and the smell goes away after a while so I dont understand people NOT buying it because of the smelll!!! I am going to go buy the big bottle now, I dont think the p rice is bad at all considering what it does, I usually buy [other brand] hairspray and that is more expensive than this is and does not do the job that this does

I have used this hair spray on my husband and myself. He has REALLY thick hair and I have REALLY thin hair. He loved it because it does not make your hair stiff and uncomfortable like gels do, yet it kept his style throughout the day, which is rare due to his thick hair. I curled my hair and used it on my curls yesterday. When I woke up today, my curls were still there. Then later in the day I went in a pool and got my hair all wet. When my hair started to dry, I had beachy waves instead which look really cute. I'm so glad for the multiple raving reviews. I have extremely thick hair, and it does what it wants- doesn't hold ANY shape that I put it in. With curling irons, within minutes if I don't apply hairspray, my hair is actually straighter than it was before the iron. With rollers, they tend to fall, for the rollers aren't big enough for my hair, and after a whole night of lack of sleep, they still fall quickly and leave me aggravated. I went to Target and bought a really cheap hairspray called Aqu a Net-- All Day All Over Hold Spray for about a dollar or two, and found it to be extremely heavy and sticky, regardless of its promises on the back of the bottle. After reading these reviews on multiple websites I figured I would take the plunge and go to Target to pick up my bottle of Elnet. Turns out the reviews were right! Soo glad I found it!

Until recently. this European wonder was sold only in Europe & "to the trade" here in the US. I used to purchase it on trips abroad. It holds like iron, but literally brushes out leaving no residue. Best of all it looks natural with no "helmet Head" effect. It's also UV rated for sunscreen so no worries unless your hair is color treated. THEN you MUST use a beach hat or scarf to protect your color. It IS expensive, but it's an investment that is worth the price. As a for mer prestige make-up atrist, (between jobs) I can tell you that L'oreal is owned by Lancome, so you can expect the same quality in less expensive packaging.

I admit I was skeptical about this hair spray after raving reviews in my fashion magazines. But I had to at least try it. And I am 100% sold. I have fine, thick hair that tends to lose curl, but with this stuff the curls stay all day and yet my hair still feels incredibly soft. It's amazing. I used a 3-barrel waver for Halloween and after each curl, I sprayed this stuff on and my hair to set the curl and it looked amazing. Shiny, yet still soft, and the curls held all night (and even the next d ay). So take a chance. I admit that the smell on the regular version smells "old", but I've found the version for color-treated hair smells much better and not offensive at all. Love it!

I usually never spend this much money on hair products, but I read the reviews and decided to try it and am so glad I did. This is great stuff...doesn't get hard or sticky. My hair is light and can be brushed through without difficulty. It holds my hair all day and never weighs it down, despite the fact I have baby fine, thin hair. I agree with everyone else that the smell is strong and old-fashioned, but this fades away and doesn't bother me because it reminds me of my mom and grandma styling their hair many years ago!

I was hearing great things about this product, so I decided to try it. It is fabulous! True, it does have that old school hairspray smell (1960's beauty shop), but it only lasts for a few seconds while spraying the can. It does not build up on your hair at all. I love the hold and the easy ability to comb through my hair.

I had HIGH hopes for this product, but am thoroughly disappointed. Pros: Fine mist application, not sticky, easy to wash out. Cons: VERY strongly scented, weak hold. Despite spraying on 3 or 4 layers, within an hour or less, my hair was flat. If I can get my money back, I will.

This hairspray is made from Mermaid sweat and Angel tears. I curled my hair on Saturday and it stayed perfect, soft, and lovely until Thursday. So what if I never wash my hair...I have fabulous curls.

Caused an asthma attack. I've never had this problem with a hairspray before. I believe it's because it's so heavily scented. After three hours of wheezing in spite of using my rescue inhaler, I had to wash it out. Scent didn't fade. Use with caution around anyone with breathing issues.
