i tried and tried with this product, mainly because i hate wasting things, but i found it not to work well in all situations. i tried it on wet hair, dry hair, with twist outs, before blowdrying - no luck. it did do something to help detangle, but that's about it. it doesn't soak in to the hair... it therefore doesn't moisturize well and leaves a ton of residue. no good for me.

I purchased this product looking for something to seal my ends properly and keep it moisturized for a while. To my dismay it left my hair incredibly sticky and gunky. My hair "felt" like it had product in it. Not a good look. I am using a much better product to seal my ends and keep my hair super soft. It's amazing. Funny enough it's called The Gud Stuff, and it is GOOOOD! lol. [...] hope this helps...

[.............] I LOVE it. I love the shampoo too. Can't wait to try the rest of the line. Super-great product, decent price. It can be used like a conditioner, I just shampoo and smooth it on straight out of the shower. Sooo great. SOFT. I have been looking for something that doesn't leave my hair feeling hard like gel, mousse or hairspray, but holds the curl. A lot of the curl creams leave it greasy or sticky. This one does neither. It's perfect. I was drawn to it because there was a gift set on sale, so so so glad I tried it, because it's fabulous.

I have 4C hair and this did NOTHING. I would not suggest someone with 4C hair to get this. This is for people who have naturally curly hair.

...but nothing great. It's very thick and leaves hair greasy and sticky, even when using just a bit. Does give good curl definition.

I purchase this product a couple of months ago and it works great -if you use a small amount- on my daughters' thick-curly hair but not mine. The product is thick and you can't use it with any other products.

This product provides great moisture with natural ingredients and a little goes a long way. However it's not curl enhancing for my 3b/3c hair.

I recently went natural by letting my perm grow out. It took a lil over a year to achieve with my shoulder length hair. This was the first product I used and I love it! I have 3b 3c type hair and this product brings out my natural curl pattern exquisitely and is easy on the pocket-book. It works great with wash and goes and does NOT need to be caked on. I apply less than one palm-full throughout in the morning and I am good all day.

I love this product! My curls have a habbit of frizzing up especially the part I lay on. I definatley recommend this to anyone and Bonus is it smells great! Only thing is i use like a quater sized amount on each section of my hair but overall its a really grat product i might get the whole line!

...My hair type is a mix of loose curl in the back, coils on the side, and cotton patch on the top and front... I bought this product about a year ago, when my hair was real short and i was doing wash n go's - haven't yet figured out how to use it effectively for that style BUT.... Yesterday, I didn't have enough of my other styling product to cover my whole head. So, I resurrected this product from my bathroom cabinet, and used the product on the last two twists in the back of my head .... near the "kitchen" - a little goes a LONG way and works great with a butter cream or pudding. I immediately noticied the difference the next day, the twists with the Curl Smoothie were smooth, shiny and felt like silk, while the rest of my hair was not so smooth. I took the twists out today, and they were very defined and very soft. I'm going to try it again on my entire head to see how it does with the multpile textures. Will have another update soon!
