I loved my first ipad but it was no longer getting upgrades and it was slowing down but this was after three years and several drops. I love the size and thinnest of the iPad mini. We got the 16gb version, and it's so great to carry around places. Weight and size are perfect. The disappointment comes when you compare it to the bigger I-pads. The main drawback is the Ram memory, which causes it to lag when buffering Youtube videos, compared to our Ipad2. I assume this is what's going on, anyway. Also, the resolution is a bit of a letdown if you're used to higher resolution from your phone. Tiny text looks less inviting, and video is not even up to 720p standards, given the screen resolution. If you want something that's bigger than an iPhone, but still easy to carry around in a purse, this is a great device. In my opinion, though... I'd wait until early next year when they up the specs a bit, or pony-up for the Retina model. The price we paid for what we got with the Mini was just way too high for now. see less

This little device is incredible. Not at all what I expected. There is all sorts of physics and technology that make this item extremely accurate in measuring distance, steps, and sleep activity, it even tells time and has a built in alarm. I clip it to my pocket and it is secure all day. At first I worried that it would fall off, but not now. The clip is so strong that I do not have to worry. This device is a great way to see what kind of activity you actually get done in an average day and its also an amazing way to compete with friends, family, or co-workers. I installed this on an older XP machine w/ a 2G processor and 1 gig of ram, the scanner does not slow the computer at all. I had a Canon printer and I absolutely hated it. I looked for this type of HP printer on the net but was unable to find it. I love this printer. It is exactly what I wanted, it was easy to hook up, the inks last so much longer than the Canon's, it prints, scans and that's all I wanted. My only complaint is I have the printer on my desk and I have to bend down to put the ink cartridges in. A real value. see less

I will say the only negative thought I have about the Nook is that the shopping market isn't that big. No "common" apps such as ESPN Score Center, though the CBS Sports app is great, but pricey at 4.99. EBay, weather channel or YouTube apps would be nice as well. I would love an Amazon app, but I understand there not being one as the Kindle is one of the Nooks main competitors, and it is sold by Amazon. I would like games like Jetpack Joyride and especially Minecraft PE, but the market is growing, it seems. I purchased this for my four year old and I. I set up profiles for us, which can both be accessed from the lock screen, which I love. The layout of the Nook is far better than the Kindle as you can set up shortcuts to anything on multiple screens. Imagine the layout of an Android phone, only it's a tablet. I have only had it for two weeks, so I'm sure I haven't tapped into all of it's potential yet, but I can say I definitely recommend this tablet and would buy it again. see less

I just upgraded to NOOK HD right after Christmas - I had a NOOK Color that I loved, but I wanted to be able to get more of the enhanced magazines and apps that are only available on the newer versions of Nook. This Nook is so great -- you can't believe how light it is and how good movies and magazines look on the screen. I made different profiles so that my husband can share it while keeping our content somewhat separated and the scrapbook function is really neat - I have been using it to save ideas for redecorating my kitchen that I see in magazines. I subscribed to a few catalogs too, which is a cool feature - you can shop right out of them. In short, I love this Nook and am so glad I went ahead and bought it - I had no idea what I was missing! I should say that I also have a Simple Touch, which I use when I am at the beach or reading books out in the sun -- it is a great companion to the HD. see less

I bought this iPad about 3 weeks ago, and while I'm still learning about all the things it can do, I have to say I love it. It's intuitive enough that you can start using it right out of the box, but to get full value and functionality out of it, you really need to read the user guide. I'm amazed by just how much this tablet can do. Aside from that, the screen is amazing! And it's FAST. With 64 GB, there's plenty of room for as many apps as you could possibly want. Works great with iTunes Match, and I love how everything syncs over my wireless network almost immediately. Setup was fast and easy, it found my home wireless network with no problem, and went through a series of questions and options that took less than 10 minutes to complete. Overall, I'm very happy with my iPad. Get it, you won't regret it. see less

I just bought this printer. It was silly easy to start using. If you want it to be connected wirelessly, be sure to follow the steps, and you'll find it very easy to set up. Make sure you allow the time for the ink cartridges to prime..takes about 5 minutes, and the printer makes some unusual noises, but that's normal. I connected mine to my wireless system, was simple, and took little time, and no need for a usb cable when connecting wirelessly. I am also able to print from my smart phone..which is the smartest thing my phone can do. After comparing to HP, I found the ink priceses to be lower. It has scanner capability, which is nice to use for old pictures. It's also a lot quieter than my old HP which is nice. Fits well on a small table, or in your computer desk. I'm very pleased with this purchase, and the price didn't cause me to take out a 2nd mortgage on my house! YAY! see less

It is super fast! The picture quality is great, and the battery lasts a long time, even longer if you adjust the settings. It comes with Windows 8, which has a learning curve. Windows hasn't changed much over the last decade in a half so it took me a minute to adjust, but it actually has some really useful new features. I didn't want a tablet because my phone does everything a tablet does already. Also, when you really need to get some work done, it's just easier and faster with a laptop. The iPad mini is an excellent iPad. It has all of the features of the full sized iPad packed into an easier to carry and smaller package. It is extremely light when compared to the full size iPad as well. The screen is excellent. A lot of people are complaining that it is not the "retina" display that the current iPads and iPhones have, but this screen is still pretty amazing. Spec wise it has many of the features of the current iPad - faster wi-fi, bluetooth 4.0, the better camera, stereo speakers, lightening adapter - and has the same screen resolution as the iPad 2, 10 hour battery etc. Well worth the money paid. I bought the 64GB version for the added space after having a 32GB original iPad and a 16GB iPad 3. If you want an iPad that is easy to carry, very light, and extremely capable get this iPad. see less

Greetings from Bali. We absolutely love our Aluratek Digital eBook Reader. It's been indispensable for us while living abroad where good English reads are pricey and hard to find. It's an excellent alternative to the higher priced big name brands (which often claim will not work outside the US). It survived our 12,000 mile/30+ hour trip...all on a single charge. The 100 free books included are a decent selection, and made a nice start to our library. The wide variety of formats recognized by the device make it easy for us to find books from thousands of sources on the web. There's no need for complicated conversion software or expensive download fees. We were a little apprehensive about the 5" screen, but it turned out to be the perfect size for our needs. A larger color screen would be more appropriate for those primarily reading digital periodicals, but for take-anywhere, carefree, paperback style reading we couldn't ask for a better device. The standard USB plug does away with the need for bulky power adapters and travel converters, allowing charges from any desktop, laptop, or public charging station. We've yet to test the waterproof to 15' claims, but is has survived our kids, a spill, some rain, and a couple falls. The price is the best feature, and our only regret is not buying another while we were back stateside. see less

I absolutely LOVE my new nook HD! I already have the Simple Touch. This however, is a biiggg step up from that. My husband and son have an iPad, which I rarely use and although I have a Samsung Galaxy phone, which I hate, I'm just not that used to tablets. This is sleek and lovely. It's a nice size and weight. Also, it's not hard to use. I will be using it for mainly reading, of course, but wanted something that I could have apps on and surf the net with as well. I would definitely recommend this to someone who loves to read and , but would still like the ability to do other stuff as well. It's no Ipad or Galaxy or Nexus and can't be compared. So, if you don't like reading and are more app happy, then please don't buy this and then complain. Go with something else instead. As for me I'm extremely satisfied! Purchased the Nook HD 16GB for the kids for Christmas. After about a month and a half it just stopped working. It won't turn on or charge. Very disappointed, but happy that the unit is being replaced by B&N. Hopefully, this malfunction was just a fluke. When it was working, we thought it was a great product for the price. The kids especially loved having internet access and loved many of the purchased and free apps. Great toy for anyone that likes to have peace and quiet on an airplane, restaurant, car ride, etc. It is educational for my Son, but really I bought it for my Wife and I. My Son really likes it too. There are lots of apps/videos available. It is also durable, especially with a cover on it. I would pick this over a tablet PC for a sub 5 year old. see less

My son loves it. I bought it for my six year old who has recently picked up his leapster and goes back and forth between the nintendo and it. He loved the leappad it has a bigger screen and lots of fun new features. see less

I bought this mouse about two months ago and it is working great! I love all the extra features that the mouse has. (Like the back and forward buttons and the scroll wheel that can be tilted left and right.) I just don't understand why there are so many bad reviews. This is a great mouse! see less

I got this mouse a couple years ago on a whim, but I've been pleasantly impressed with its quality. The mouse does everything I expect it to well. While I don't find the back/forward buttons to be particularly useful (I can't break the habit of just using the browser buttons) they don't get in the way either. The battery life is good, though not 2 years like it claims. That claim probably assumes that you buy nice batteries and turn the mouse of whenever its not in use. Which of course I do neither =p It still lasts a very long time though, to the point where I can't even remember the last time I changed the battery. see less

Pros: Well designed mouse with just enough features and attrubutes. Comfortable, ergonomic design (for right hand use). Very tightly closed off from external debris entering. I use it constantly and found very little gunk had infiltrated the PCB and wheel encoder. Cons: Using with a laptop, the cursor will suddenly shift to another area. May be a conflict with the laptop touchpad setup. After software update, the vertical scrolling would turn on and off. Would need to go into SetPoint to have it work again. Not sure why. I did disassemble the mouse and found a small wad of fuzz that was caught by the tension spring of the cursor wheel. Removed it. See what happens. Overall: Excellent buy. Very durable, felt better than Microsoft mice. see less

So happy with the Leap Pad 2.... my son has PDD-NOS ( autism ) and he is doing so well. Its helping his speech and his motor skills. So many other things to list.... Looking forward to many years of Leap Frog. see less

Switched from a Lexmark that gave us nothing but trouble! The HP Pro 8600 works fantastic. It was easy to set up. Print quality is crisp and fast. Scanner & fax work smoothly. Wireless is simple and works GREAT! Loved it so much bought a second for my home :) see less

Have had a number of different makes of printers over the years but have always come back to HP because they seem to be a step above the rest and I like the service. The Officejet Pro 8600 has all of the features I like. I especially like the envelope feature in the feed tray. The new ink cartridges are much better than the previous ones although they weren't that bad. It is a joy to work with!!!! see less
